The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Place sheets/pillowcases from sleeper on washer. Put used towels on washer.
Check that furniture is 6" or more from baseboard heaters.
All trash must be deposited at the Halo Pines site in the Village. Down the hill to the stop sign, right on Mountain View, right onto Halo Pines (after dollar store on right).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No drugs, no parties.
If you need a late check-out, please request it at least 48 hours ahead of time. If we can accommodate your request, we will gladly do so.

This a gem of a condo in Angel Fire!! It was spacious, clean and had so many convenient comforts - toiletries in the bathroom if you forgot something, fully stocked kitchen down to the tiniest details, games, Roku TV, plenty of comfy blankets and pillows! We loved our stay here!!

Condo was very clean and well-equipped. Fantastic location. Easy to walk kids to and from ski school and to and from the lifts. It was also easy to walk to the lodge for coffee. Hosts communicated extremely well and we felt well taken care of. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"This VRBO exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we walked in, it felt like a warm, inviting home. The fireplace was a dream on snowy evenings, especially with hot chocolate. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was unbeatable – just a short walk to the ski lifts. It was so convenient to pop back for lunch! Great location and really nice condo. We cooked every night after skiing and walked home from the mountain midday for a quick lunch. The owner was responsive and quite helpful. I highly recommend. Great location and really fair price.

Wonderful property for a ski trip Daddy date!

Angel Fire was an excellent family skiing resort, with runs for everyone! We enjoyed eating all of our meals at Ski Mountain Escape. The kitchen was well appointed with nice dishes, pots, pans, and plenty of space to cook and eat (and play games too!) Great location! Excellent hosts who were very kind and welcoming with helpful communication! A vacation full of good memories!!

Hi! We're Linda and Lou Lloyd-Zannini, and we discovered Angel Fire in summer of 2017, and immediately fell in love with the place and its people. We bought the chalet in September of 2017, and began to renovate it for us and our guests. We live here from May through August, loving every moment of the cool summer in these gorgeous surroundings. During the school year, we live in Victoria, TX, where Lou is a professor, and Linda is active in the life of the community.

Our vision for Ski Mountain Escape is for it to be for you what it is for us: a place to refresh, recharge, and engage life anew. Our home is comfortable, casual, and contemporary, featuring a restful color palette and carefully edited decor. We want you to feel at home here, and we've done our best to make that happen.

Whether you prefer leisurely strolls, music in the park, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, golf, tennis, hiking, shopping or just sitting and relaxing, there's something here for you.

For photographers, don't miss the opportunity to see the amazing fall colors of the Enchanted Circle. The golden glow of the aspens in the fall is truly breathtaking, and provides spectacular photo ops. For more information, check out the Angel Fire Visitor Center, which is well stocked with informational literature, and is staffed by knowledgeable and friendly local residents.

What makes this property unique

We love this home because it is spacious and open. With 10' ceilings in the living/dining/kitchen, and lots of windows on the south side, the condo feels and lives far larger than its 720sf and it is the largest size of the one-bedroom units in the Chalets, at nearly 200sf more living space than the rest. The open concept allows clear sight and conversation lines, whether friends are in the living room, sitting at the dining room table, or hanging out at the breakfast bar. We enjoy a kitchen that two can cook in while entertaining friends, the warmth of the fireplace in the morning while enjoying coffee, and the breezes on the deck in the summer. The proximity to "town" (The Village of Angel Fire) -- less than a mile -- allows for quick runs for groceries, hardware, restaurants, shops, and parks.
