Custom Neptune Beach House - Steps to Beach - Family Friendly

Remarkable beach home on exclusive ocean-front Neptune Avenue. Best location across from ocean vantage point and only a short walk to Stone Steps beach access. Bamboo and rustic reclaimed wood floors, gourmet kitchen, custom lighting, unique glass block shower in master bath, and an amazing office with custom built-in cabinets and desks. Upstairs master bedroom and office open to a large ocean view balcony. Rinse off after the beach in the outdoor shower.

Neptune Avenue is well known in this area and for good reason. It is the perfect location for a beach getaway. You can walk to the beach, to restaurants, to the famous Pannikin Coffee Shop, to downtown Encinitas, and so much more. Villa Neptune is on the best section of Neptune Avenue (family friendly and great neighbors)! The closest beach is a locals beach, called Stone Steps with no parking lot (so it doesn't get too crowded).

Beacons beach is very close as is Moonlight, Grandview, Swami's, Pipes, and many more. If you have children in your group, Legoland is a 10 minute drive away. Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, and the Wild Animal Park are in the area as well. I also have a babysitter referals for a parents night out.

Great location and beautiful house.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is very clean and organized. The house was one block from Stone Steps Beach. We would love to rent this house again.

Great location, great home!

Our family of four loved the location (great for evening walks down Neptune Ave) and it was close to Moonlight Beach (within short walking distance) without being too close and super busy. We loved the upstairs patio and ocean view, dinner at nearby Solterra and much more. Stephanie was a wonderful host and super accommodating of our many questions! She even helped us find a babysitter during our trip. We’ll be back!

Way better then expected

The pictures were okay but we picked the house for the location in Encinitas. The house turned out to be adorable with cute spaces for kids to hide and play, plenty of places to sleep and the comforts of home. We made dinner nightly and sat on the upstairs or downstairs deck. The area was always busy with friendly people and the beach steps were nearby. Thanks Stephanie for all the extras (bikes, games, books, movies. We will be back!

Wonderful Home in a Wonderful Location

My family (2 adults and 2 boys aged 6 and 9) stayed for almost two weeks in Stephanie's home over the summer. We had a lovely time. The home is in a great location: a block from Stone Steps beach and in a quiet neighborhood at night. The house is spacious with a very well equipped kitchen that opens on the front patio with bbq. We used the bbq to grill every night and ate outside almost every night too. Next to the kitchen is a family area with TV, DVD player (and plenty of DVDs) and a Wii so the kids could relax and have more fun after a long day at the beach. The kids also used the ping pong table at the back of the house and a back patio to shoot basket balls. It was perfect to keep them occupied while the parents cooked. There are also many board games for them to play and children books too. The kids also loved their bedroom with beds that allowed them to sleep close to each other. I loved the kids bedroom because it had nice light-blocking shades so kids could get to sleep and there was space in the drawers to place their clothes. The house also has an outdoor shower at the back which was very nicely done and super useful to get rid of all the sands and get all cleaned-up after the beach. The kids actually never had a shower inside. The upstairs was a haven of peace for the parents: a large master bedroom (with a space to sit and read) with a beautiful bathroom and peaceful deck. We kept some windows open at night so we had fresh air. No need for AC. The house is wonderful. It is really a Home that was made with great thinking (windows in the right area for cross-breeze, great lay-out of the different rooms) and care. It is nicely decorated, modern, very well equipped both in terms of appliances and supplies (soaps, shampoo, salt, pepper, kitchen paper rolls etc...). Next time we are in Encinitas, we will book this Home again. It was part of making our family vacation a success.

Beautiful home, great location!

We stayed here over the Christmas break. The home was amazing. Close to the beach with great views. Everything we needed was available or close by. The owner, Stephanie, was extremely accommodating and very pleasant to work with.

Great Neptune retreat!

Both of us felt so fortunate to have found this vacation rental available for our California stay. We had two previous rentals and they could not come close to this one!! It was exceptionally clean, great design interior and exterior, incredible balcony off second floor bedroom - we loved it!! Very close to beach access - as well as to downtown Encinitas shops and restaurants. We will be coming back to this location.

We have been here since 2001. I have 3 children and a dog. My kids and I have walked Neptune countless times and have spent most of our summers walking to Stone Steps, the local beach, to play, boogie board, and surf. I am a mechanical engineer transitioning to become a teacher so that I can continue to spend summers with my kids at the beach.

Why they chose this property

This is a unique, custom home which has a peaceful, beachy feel about it. It has top end appliances, outside shower, and many other custom features. Neptune is a very social street. Our front yard faces west and is a great place to bar-b-que, relax, and watch the Neptune 4th of July parade go by.

What makes this property unique

Great beach house. All the comforts of home. Walk to the beach and restaurants. Take advantage and have a night away from the kids, my babysitter for the last 5 years is available this summer for babysitting jobs.
