Beautiful 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath condo in Bear Lodge, a part of award winning Trappeur's Crossing....One of Steamboat's newest and most luxurious accommodation!

Professionally decorated in a cozy and stylish mountain scheme you'll find a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with granite breakfast bar, quality stainless steel appliances, a 4-burner gas cook-top stove and luxurious wood cabinetry. The large deck is perfect for evening BBQ's or watching a stunning valley sunset.

2 of the 3 bedrooms have luxurious en-suite bathrooms with tub and/or shower with a large jetted soaker-tub and separate shower in the master private bath. The 3rd bedroom has 2 full beds with a bathroom just across the hall for convenience. All the bathrooms come complete with plush bathrobes, bath products and luxury towels. Plush European style duvets and luxury bed linens compliment this beautiful unit.

Located just 2 blocks from the Gondola, Bear Lodge is the 6th and final phase at Trappeur's Crossing Resort. Recently awarded the coveted Expedia Insiders Select Choice Award, Bear Lodge offers arguably the best accommodations available anywhere in Steamboat.

Other amenities include complimentary high-speed wireless internet, a 42 inch flat screen TV and DVD in living area as well as a stereo with I-POD dock. All bedrooms also have flat screen TVs with integrated DVD players and the condo has a sophisticated central sound system with control panels in every room to allow you to listen to your favorite music anywhere in the condo. There is also an in-condo washer and dryer, in-room safe, private ski-lockers, central air-chilling system in the summer, and private heated underground parking.

As part of the Trappeur's Crossing Resort, this lodge has use of all of the Trappeur's facilities including Amenity Center with computers and internet access, fitness center, 4 pools, 10 hot tubs and a sauna.

If you don't want to walk the two blocks to the Gondola, the shuttle service will whisk you from the front door to Gondola Square. The shuttle will also take you Downtown, to the grocery stores or indeed anywhere within Steamboat City limits.

Great Property

Property was very clean and well cared for. Looked just like the photos. Kitchen was well equipped, Could have used a dedicated space for groceries. We had every meal on the large covered balcony. Awesome property and location.

Great condo for our family of 4. Plenty of space and storage for our ski stuff. Good pool and hot tubs. Great location with frequent bus service. My only complaint is that it was very hot in our unit the whole time between 73 and 80 degrees even though we kept the heat off.

Cozy condo with great location

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was very good. Very nice accommodation with perfect location to get to the slopes. Loved the shuttle service. We used it a lot and the drivers were so friendly with great recommendations for dinner locations. Only thing to knock was the thermostat. Even with it off, the place did get warm at time so we opened an outside door to let it cool. But I would highly recommend this place and would come again!

We’ve skied as a family many times at Steamboat and the condo at Bear Lodge did not disappoint. We all agreed that the condo was exceptional!

Review

Loved this condo but had some questions and did not have success in reaching this property manager. Would have been nice to have used the sound system but there were no instructions and couldn’t get ahold of anyone to explain. Also, instructions on how to cool the unit were not efficacious. Would be basic to have liquid dish soap there to wash some dishes by hand. Also, was confusing to have paid for property insurance through the listing and then upon check in finding out it is required to charge $500 for property damage as well. That should be in the listing as well.

Wonderful condo!

The condo was fabulous and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Nicely located near the base of the mountain, but it would be a short walk to the gondolas for skiing. (We stayed in summer, so that was not an issue.) Located about 2 miles from downtown SS. The pool at Bear Lodge was small but adequate. The hot tubs were not really very hot the first day, but they turned up the temperature after that and they were fine. Condo had washer/dryer, too, which was nice since we got a bit muddy and dusty from our summer activities. The only thing to note is that the front desk will also require a $500 damage deposit at check-in, so you're paying both VRBO and Trappeur's Crossing. That means that around $750 is collected for damage deposits, which is ridiculous. We fully expect to get ours back, so I'm not worried about it, but that's a little over the top.

Condo 6102 Bear Lodge

With expectations high our family was not disappointed with Bear Lodge exceeding our expectations on quality of accommodation, presentation and cleanliness, and service. Well located in walking distance to all mountain facilities everything is in close proximity. The Shuttle Service provided easy access to other locations with a door to door free service. The shuttle drivers provided friendly invaluable local advice making dinning decisions easy. The Bear Lodge facilities such as Spa and Sauna assisted aching bones to recover for the next day of skiing. I can not recommend Bear lodge highly enough. Perfect family holiday resort!
