August 19-22 stay

The unit is well maintained and offered an abundance of outdoor space with the rooftop patio/BBQ grill/hot tub/fire pit as well as the 3rd floor patio with dining table. It is walking distance to the ski village area. We would stay there again.

Absolutely Fantastic!

Our family of parents, 2 children and spouses, and the bride to be the night before the wedding stayed at this property. Kitchen was immaculate with all stocked items to be able to cook. Coffee pot, 4-sliced toaster, and auto ice maker. Beds were extremely comfortable. Extra blankets, pillows, and even a cool mist humidifier were provided in each bedroom. TVs in each bedroom. Iron and ironing board plus hair dryer provided. Bathroom towels thick and fluffy. Excellent water pressure. Very lovely fireplace in the living room. Rooftop deck and hot tub magnificent. Convenient to everything. Thank you!!!

Awesome stary

A group of us stayed at Bear Lodge for a week and we were all (8) amazed at how lucky we got with this condo!! Everything is just as nice in person as in the pictures. All of the bedrooms were ready for us when we arrived as well as the kitchen. Pots, pans, utensils, linens, etc. were ready and waiting. The hot tub on the back patio was just what we needed after a long cold day of skiing. Being from Louisiana, we got a little warm at night with the heat on, but all of the windows opened nicely and we slept just fine. The walk to the gondola was about a block, but the shuttle service was available to take you just about anywhere you needed to go with a quick phone call. There is a little store between the condo and the gondola with some groceries and a liquor store. Don't leave without taking a ride on the snowmobiles!! They take you to some spots with outstanding views. No doubt when we return to Steamboat Springs, we will be staying here again.

wonderful Experience

we enjoyed staying at Trappeurs Crossing It was so nice and had alot to offer- swim, tennis, pickle ball, close to base mountain. Our unit Bear 6304 was so nice - loved the set up. We really enjoyed the roof top with hot tub, grill and fire pit. Hope to stay there again.

Just Perfect for Family

We all wanted to stay longer. It was a perfect set-up for our family which is 7 adults, one toddler, and one infant. the condo floorplan was all on one level and just a few steps up to the outside roof top patio area was huge.. Couldn't have been happier with the unit, the parking, the amenities, and the location. Staff was also helpful and friendly.. Highly recommend this complex for anyone looking at Steamboat..

What an amazing place!

Our large family had a fantastic stay there. Everything was sparkling clean. The kitchen had all the facilities we needed for intricate meals and smoothies. We loved the huge rooftop patio with firepit and jacuzzi. (On a side note, they allowed us to check-in early and it was nice to see how thoroughly the staff cleaned the jacuzzi.) There were enough terry cloth robes for nearly everyone, which was a nice touch. Parking was easy in the underground parking garage.

June 2019 Stay

We spent the extra money to have the private hot tub and roof top experience in Bear 6304. Upon arrival, the hot tub was not working. No one had notified us of this. JJ, the property manager, was apologetic and sent up maintenance and a bottle of wine. They were not going to be able to get it fixed that day/night and stated the following day by noon. He comped a night of our stay. Long story short, we arrived on Tuesday and were not able to use the hot tub until Thursday morning. We only had one of the kids with us for three nights and this greatly affected our plans. I had a celebration planned with a couple of friends and we were going to have our gathering on the rooftop. None of that happened and we had to make other plans. For me, it was not about the money but about the experience. We should have been notified and had other arrangements made. Overall, it really caused problems with our trip and I was not happy with my experience.

While we never like to see a highly anticipated vacation have negative outcome, we appreciate the feedback so it can help us improve in the future. We are deeply apologetic about the maintenance issues that were experienced with the hot tub. We do our best keep all mechanical components of every condo running perfectly at all times of the year including weekly, monthly and annual inspections for functionality. Unfortunately, there are times when we get surprised by mechanical breakdowns and we do our absolute best to react as quickly as possible. In this case, we were not able to make the fix happen on the spot due to the nature of the breakdown. This understandably left a void in the experience you were trying to have. I hope we showed a high level of compassion, understanding, and reaction time by offering you the resolution you noted and being there to address this right away. We hope to have the chance to host you again in the future.

Nailed it!

We have four kids and four adults and absolutely loved our condo at Bear Lodge. The condo itself is huge and has plenty of space. We particularly loved the second floor private patio with a hot tub and fire pit. We spent a lot of time up there looking at stars, making s'mores and just hanging out. We talked about grilling on the grill on night, but we never got around to it. The location was also perfect for us. We loved strolling up to Wild Plum for coffee, snacks, drinks and even pizza throughout the day. We also loved walking up to Gondola park and and hiking Mt. Werner. This was a great place for a big party.

Beautiful

Our condo at Bear Lodge was exceptional! We had 3 generations staying in the 4 bedroom, 4 bath condo. It had a rooftop deck with a hot tub, bbq and fire pit. The onsite pool and hot tubs shared by the building were also very nice. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Amazing Steamboat, Amazing Condo

My family and I have just returned to the UK from an amazing late season holiday in Steamboat. We were lucky enough to have incredible ski conditions (not just because it was the end of season, they would have been great at any time of the season!) Our holiday was made extra special by the apartment we stayed in at Bear Lodge. Firstly, it was huge, secondly it actually looked as good as the marketing photos, thirdly, the rooftop patio and hot tub is something else to behold and fourthly, the rental company, Simply Steamboat couldn't have been more helpful! The apartment (I suppose I should call it 'condo'!) is fully equipped and has everything you would need including a kitchen stocked with every utensil you could need. The integrated sound system is a nice touch and relatively easy to use. Wifi is free (what a nice change to most top end hotels) and blazing fast. Shuttle service to/from the mountain is extremely regular (I guess every 10 minutes or so) but realistically, unless you have very young kids, completely unnecessary as it's only about a 200-300 yard walk with no elevation gain! Where the shuttle is useful is if you want to go anywhere else in Steamboat, including downtown. A simple phone call gets you a shuttle to your doorstep within 10 minutes which will take you anywhere you please. Excellent! Even from the UK, Simply Steamboat were great to deal with - responsive to emails, helpful getting ski hire and transfers organised prior to arrival and they even did a supermarket shop for us before we arrived!! When we were there, they made us dinner recommendations and reservations every night (all of which were bang on the money) and no matter how much we bugged them(!), they never seemed to mind! I dream of customer service like that hitting the UK one day! Thank you all and see you next year!
