This 1940’s farmhouse has original shiplap, bead board, and 12 foot ceilings that add to the charm. Lots of love and attention went into the renovation of this house. During your stay we hope you enjoy the historical allure as well as the modern comforts of the home.
The house has three generous bedrooms and a large living room to relax and unwind. The house has Wifi, a 40 inch TV with Cable service (Spectrum), and a large farmhouse table with ample space for scrapbooking, playing board games, or enjoying a nice meal together. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, plates, dishes, toaster, glassware, etc. For your convenience we also provide a coffee/tea bar with everything you would need to make an excellent cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa. Enjoy your coffee on the front porch or in the backyard on the private deck.
Bungalow 202 is located just a short walk (0.4 miles) to the charming historic main street where you will find casual and fine dining, craft beer, wine bars, outdoor beer garden with live music on the weekends, local spas, ice cream and cupcake shops, and fantastic bakeries. Art galleries, antique shops, and a variety of quaint boutiques that are among the best in the hill country line the historic main street.
The old depot walking trail is right across the street for a great brisk walk in the morning. Another close by walking trail takes you along the river where you can enjoy ducks, geese, and beautiful surroundings.
While staying in Boerne you can enjoy many of the surrounding areas just a short drive away. Cave Without a Name, Cascade Caverns, Boerne Lake, Lukenbach, Comfort, Fredericksburg, Bandera, Fiesta Texas, Sea World, and the San Antonio Riverwalk can provide a nice day trip.
