Casa de Leon is a spacious and modern home located in one of the nicest neighborhoods around. Our casa features stainless steel kitchen appliances, custom mahogany woodwork throughout, and large comfortable beds. Enjoy the unparalleled views of both the ocean and the majestic Sierra Laguna mountains from the rooftop deck or walk a few minutes to the long and unpopulated San Pedrito Beach to swim, surf, fish, or kayak in the Pacific Ocean. We are located within walking/biking distance of several farm-to-table restaurants, yoga studios, and the famous Baja Beans coffee shop. The house is three stories (four, if you count the rooftop deck!) so there are views for miles from pretty much anywhere in the house. The furnishings are comfortable, modern, and collected from all over the world with a bohemian. modern flare.

Casa de Leon is about a 30 minute drive from downtown Cabo San Lucas, a 7 minute drive from the famous swimming and surfing mecca of Los Cerritos as well as a 10 minute drive from the charming pueblo of Todos Santos.

This property was a bit disappointing. The pictures and location looked great- and when the property was newer I’m sure it was. Unfortunately there is a lot of deferred maintenance- all the plumbing fixtures are loose- only hot water at the kitchen sink - all the showers and sinks are luke warm at best. All of the screens on the windows and doors are bent or torn- with the bugs in the area, this made it impossible to keep anything open. The refrigerator had trouble keeping a cool temperature and the pots and pans are very rough. Luckily the beds were clean and comfortable and the property was responsive to issue that could be fixed. The pool was adequate but lots of junk, old furniture and trash was left all around the outside of the property, the landscaping is completely overgrown. Also important to note that the layout is difficult to truly accommodate 5 bedrooms- only two bathrooms in the home, the 3rd is a pool bathroom. The 5th bedroom is only accessible from a separate entrance. The location is great- close walk to the beach, but there is someone living in a junky RV& broken down cars in the front yard.

Beautiful location and house

House is great. Plenty of room and bathrooms. Lots of towels. Pool was wonderful. Good beach within easy walk. Great small town. Rough road to get to house. There are no spices (salt/pepper) if you’d want to cook. Also no pool floats or kids items to play with. We ended up buying a couple floats and sand toys for your two grand children and left them at the house. Rooftop deck is amazing and plenty of whales to watch. All in all a wonderful experience

What a lovely house. The view was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and cookware you need. The pool was clean. Although we didn’t go to the beach behind the home, you could see it was close. The only gripe we had was the downstairs bedroom was only accessible from the outside. And the water went out to the bathroom outside. So we had to leave the doors unlocked for our friends to be able to use the indoor bathrooms, which was a little concerning. But the home owner quickly fixed the water and the next day they were able to use it. Very nice place and will definitely be back.

Great Location for a large group

The property was great for our large group. Very spacious with room for everyone to have their own space. The views from the roof are amazing. Sunsets were beautiful. The pool was great for the kiddos. We ate out most of the time but the kitchen is well equipped for cooking in. I know everyone has different must haves, for me hot water and good water pressures is important and you have it here. The beds are very comfortable. Just an FYI, one bathroom is accessed from outside and does not have potable water. The host does provide bottled water to use there. It was a great location for us. We had 4WD vehicles and got around, no problem. It was a wonderful vacation. The host is very responsive and goes out of her way to be accommodating.

Pescadero Getaway

Very clean roomy property that was easy to find. Excellent WiFi and Netflix access but streaming from a computer did not work for us. Beautiful views of mountains, sky and sea. Great whale-watching from the upper decks. Fabulous restaurants in close proximity. The only caution I would give is that this house has a LOT of stairs and may be challenging if you have individuals with disabilities in your party.

excellent vacation house.

We stayed here for a couple weeks.We found that the house was a great place for friends and family. It was easy to find (The tallest house in the area)The beds were quite comfortable.The rooms were spacious,with high ceilings,and excellent views.The kitchen was stocked with everything to feed your family(except the food) or for entertaining groups as well. A nice breeze comes through in the afternoons keeping the temperature moderate most of the time.The owners are easy to make arrangements with.I would recommend it to all my friends!

We split our time between Northern California and Pescadero. My husband purchased our property in Baja almost 20 years ago when he was down there on a surf trip with friends. We built the house slowly over time, living in a converted school bus that he drove down the peninsula in his 20's while construction was happening. Whitney is an acupuncturist and Gary is a builder. We have two young children that keep us on our toes!

Why they chose this property

The location of the land was a big selling point. It is located 4 lots back from the ocean so it's a quick walk to the beach. And the house is the tallest one in the whole area so the views are unparalleled. Our neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and one of the most desired locations in the area.

What makes this property unique

Our home is very spacious. modern, and bright. There are windows everywhere so whichever direction you look you are sure to have an amazing view! We also enjoy cooking a lot so we have upgraded appliances as well as a well appointed kitchen. And the saltwater lap pool is such an amazing place to waste away the day! The first 10 feet of the pool is shallow and makes for a very nice play area for the kiddos.
