With a cozy double bed, bunk beds for the kids, and a spacious open-plan kitchen featuring a brand-new fridge installed in January 2025, this property is the perfect home base for your getaway. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower and enjoy a relaxing BBQ it’s the ultimate beachside retreat! Don’t wait too long—this gem is in high demand. Please note that while we do not provide linens, all beds are equipped with mattress protectors, pillowcases, pillows, quilts, and quilt covers. You will need to bring your own sheets, towels, bath mats, and tea towels. Additionally, please remember to pack essentials such as washing powder, kitchen detergent, soap, and toilet paper. If you prefer, linen hire companies are available for your convenience—please reach out to our office directly for further information.

A $40 Booking Fee plus a separate Cleaning Fee Applies to all bookings.

HAT HEAD

Hat Head is the Ideal fishing village surrounded by Hat Head National Park and the best in pristine & unspoiled beaches. The beaches, sand dunes, rainforest and wetlands offer an ideal backdrop for bushwalking and relaxing.

Launch your trailer boat from the creek side ramp with adjacent fish cleaning facilities also available- all only a minute's drive, just past the Bowling Club.

There are a lot of walking tracks to choose from and visitors can also enjoy bird watching. Birdwatchers can look for black swans and spoonbills in the parks wetlands, hawks and eagles soaring above beach cliffs and shorebirds like curlews and plovers around the beach.

Hat Head National Park is a great place to go whale watching during the annual whale migration which takes place from June to November.

Hat head holiday

Property was relatively clean but the fridge could have done with a little more work, at the end of town but close to the beach. Top place for a couple of days get away

The vacuum cleaner blew up on the first day we were there.there was sand through the whole place and needed a good clean out.The main Bed is missing multiple slats and made it very uncomfortable. Also would be good if there was a dryer. Otherwise it was ok. Hat head is a beautiful place to have a holiday.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for 2 weeks in Dec 22 & 23, mainly because there was nothing else available in Hat Head at the time so had to rebook. Main bedroom advertised as a QUEEN, however, it is definately a DOUBLE. Mattresses in all bedrooms were very thin, uncomfortable and awful to sleep on. They NEED to be updated for the price you pay to stay there. Ironing board has been broken for 2 years in a row, still not replaced after first request. Upon arrival last year, the freezer stunk of fish and the shelf racks in freezer were all rusted and dirty. Had to clean them myself which was frustrating. Garbage bin inside unit was way too small. Needs to be replaced with larger bin. These may sound like trivial things but the owners should really be updating all mattresses with new ones. And main bedroom should not be advertised as a Queen especially if you are paying for what is advertised or change the description to reflect Double bed. Unit was overall ok except for those things I mentioned.

Short solo getaway

It satisfied my needs on this occasion, was tidy and comfortable. Could be improved by a split A/C for summer months. I'd recommend staying here as it is good value for money. The beach access was a delightful little stroll through a bush track.
