The bedrooms are located downstairs from the kitchen and living area, providing separation for those that want to wind-down a little earlier (or head out early to hit the trails and slopes). The primary bedroom has an en-suite bathroom (with a shower/tub), a queen-sized bed with the rustic log furniture providing a cabin-like feel. It also has a television. The second bedroom has a full-sized bed with a twin bunk and adjacent bathroom (with stand-up shower).
There are few lodging options with a large, HEATED, attached garage this close to everything, with hooks, racks and space for your skis, snowboards, boots and gear. No need to carry your luggage up stairs or down long hallways. Simply enter through the garage and quickly stow your bags in your bedrooms.

Condo is in an amazing location. Main Street is a quick walk away, free shuttle is literally right outside the property making maintain access a breeze! Condo was clean, well stocked and cozy. I brought up a maintenance need with the owner and it was being addressed within 2 hours. Would definitely recommend this stay for small families or couples. Thanks for the stay!
Amazing location for walks into town and a quick 4min walk to the Gondola. It is SKI IN as advertised, just take the 4 O'Clock run to town and make a left onto sawmill road, you'll ride the curb down to the end of the street and the unit is right there! Perfect place for a group of 4 and the host was very responsive to all our needs. I looks forward to staying here again!
We had a great trip. Very cozy and clean. Short walk to downtown. Comfortable beds. Has washer and dryer which came in handy. The owners are very nice and were responsive to all of my questions.
It is literally steps away from the shuttle stops going up and down from peak 7 and 8. Love the garage, and the proximity to town. The washer and dryer are also a game changer.
Owners were super helpful and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The location cannot be beat! Literally 1 min walk to shuttle and ski back to unit and two blocks from Main Street. The bedrooms are both in the first level which was super convenient for baggage, heated garage for your gear, the second level has kitchen, dining table, sofa, chair, TV, fireplace, deck. Would stay again!
Property is a bit long in the tooth but very comfortable and the location can’t be beat. Ski shuttle in front of building. Main Street two blocks away. Access to garage was tricky because of key code wonkiness, but it worked eventually. Completely satisfied
We appreciated the convenience of the location to Peak 8 and to Main Street. The owners were very communicative when there were some minor issues, and things were resolved quickly.
Good not great property. Awesome location and owners were easy to deal with, but place is dated and needs some TLC.

Overall good experience. It is not ski in and ski out, but you can walk to gondola or use bus.
Ok for older children, would be more challenging to lug skis around to gondola for younger kids. Overall a good property.

Thank you for the review. The townhome is, in fact, ski in as described We don’t describe it as ski-out (that would be impossible since it’s a 2-minute walk to Main St). The free bus to peak 7 and 8 is 20 steps behind the home and the gondola is an 8 minute walk, made even easier with the pedestrian underpass for the gondola.

Why they chose this property
Location, location, location. Twin Elks is a 3 minute walk to downtown, it's ski in, close to the gondola and even closer to the free shuttle bus to the slopes. It has a heated garage, and separate floors to create space between the bedrooms and the living area. A deck that faces the mountains for morning coffee or evening wine outside or by the fireplace. The community has a shared hot tub as well.
