Featured in Architectural Digest for the design vision of renowned architect Diego Villaseñor, Montecito's villas each incorporate the region's spectacular ecosystem respecting flora and fauna while delivering unparalleled views of Huatulco's coastline.

The interior design and décor featured throughout this home demonstrate the architect's personal touch with an undeniable connection to the surrounding natural environment. The great room includes both indoor and outdoor dining and lounging areas and opens up to the private terrace and infinity pool where you can enjoy the tranquility of the Pacific waves below. This space includes the open-concept kitchen where guests can enjoy the colorful and flavorful world of Oaxacan cuisine. You may also take advantage of Montecito's onsite dining options, including in-villa dining for those nights you just don't feel like leaving the serenity of this space.

This property offers 2 luxurious bedroom suites, each with private ensuite baths, luxurious finishes and upgraded touches throughout. To accommodate a 5th guest, a third bedroom with full ensuite bath is available for an additional fee. Stays at this home include exclusive resident and guest access to all Montecito Beach Village amenities including two shared swimming pools, fitness center, onsite restaurants, beach club, and direct access to the neighboring beach (Playa La Bocana).

Only thing that could be better in the rainy season when there are lots of mosquitoes and heat is if the doors and windows were completely sealed to keep bugs out when closed and if there were AC in the top floor

As you see this property on line as breath taking as it is, it is even more in person. The property was stunning and beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. There was construction going on but it didn’t bother us at all. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Customer service was great, everyone was very kind and always there to help.The chef services were excellent, they really work well to fit what you want. The Cala and Loma lounge were good. We had valentines dinner on the beach (Cala) and I thought it was a little over priced for what we got. But other than that meal the food was good.The few things that were lacking was the air conditioner in the master bedroom was not working so it was quite hot at times, the toaster was broken and the place definitely needs a BBQ.

Our favorite so far

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year renting a house through "Explore Huatulco." We used to stay at all inclusives but as our family grew bigger we discovered that renting a house gave everyone their own space and the cost was comparable. Villa Alheli is our favorite place to date. There are multiple decks and lounging areas so that we could have our own space whenever we wanted. The view from the top deck is amazing with an infinity pool at your feet and an ocean view for as far as you can see.Even though we had our own pool at the house, we spent a lot of time at the beach pool. Despite, all of the houses being occupied, we had the beach cabanas and the beach pool all to ourselves! We never saw any other guests!There is a second pool at the top of the village that has a beautiful light display at night. My son called it the magical pool. We spent one evening at the magical pool and never say any other guests there either! it was truly amazing.The only issue we encountered was that the bedroom doors open to the outdoors and our young son is scared to sleep with his door shut. We ended up having to take turns sleeping with him as we could not leave his bedroom door open or critters would have entered. We are hoping next year he is ok sleeping with his door shut. The views from the floor to ceiling bedroom windows are spectacular and they are screened so that you can fall asleep listing to the waves.

Beautiful Villa

I would suggest that the villas come equipped with some additional amenities for guests, including speakers (i.e. Sonos) and pool or beach toys. We did have some issues with a tremendous amount of ants throughout our villa. The hilltop pool bar also was out of many items on the menu (including guacamole) but all the food that we did have was delicious (especially the tacos down at the beach!). As the house is an open-air living concept, ants can at times make their way inside - especially when food is left out on the tables/counters. Thankfully the Montecito team is always close at hand to assist with any issues like this and are available around the clock to support your maintenance needs. We were sorry to hear that you weren't able to take advantage of some menu items offered at the Loma Lounge but happy to hear that you did enjoy the food you ordered. The exclusive restaurants are such an amazing perk for guests to enjoy and a rare amenity of having access to private restaurants with unbeatable menu pricing accessible only to Montecito guests and residents. This is always a favorite aspect of the guest experience at Montecito. Hopefully we can welcome you back in the future so you can sample what you missed and experience new items as the menu changes with the seasons. Just Beautiful

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Montecito Bay was amazing, from the breath taking views the moment you open your door to the peaceful relaxing surroundings. The beach was easily accessible by walking down a creative path with stairs and suspension bridges or by taking the trolley. We personally liked the stairs. The only downside to the stay was the ocean was to rough to play in at the resort and distance from La Crucecita.

The perfect getaway.

Breathtaking views, clean, private, spacious, with an island feel to the villa. Great location as it is secluded but has enough amenities to keep you happy including a good gym. The infinity pools are great...especially the rooftop pool at the restaurant. If you want to explore or be more active, things are 10-30 minutes away. Renting a car is helpful and recommended. Staff are perfect. Even if something went wrong, they made it right...that is all you can ask for. They are courteous and professional and clearly care about your stay. Highly recommend this place for a beautiful and relaxing get away. The property management staff know their stuff. They are helpful and responsive. I will definitely be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Villa Alheli recently and absolutely loved the villa as well as the entire property. We loved having our own private villa, but to also have a beautiful beach club and The Loma Lounge and lagoon available to enjoy, was really a bonus. The food was amazing and the service stellar. The quality of construction and attention to detail were really something special. We'll definitely be back again!

Nicest Resort i have been to

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Resort is very nice but it is also very quiet. the place was full but we never seen anyone. There were 6 of us and we had the whole beach to ourselves for 2 weeks.The water is a little rough for swimming. Yu can take a trail to the beach besides Secrets resort. Only a 10 minute walk and the beach is very nice and water is calm.
