I always bring guests here to enjoy the places. The scenery is wonderful. I've come back here for the second time, but I can't enjoy the pool because of the weather. I'll come back again next time.

Dissapointing to only catch one fish off the jetty and nearby boats made my boat look tiny. But in all seriousness this place was just what we needed, great spot, great location and great house. The jetty made life easy allowing us to dock the boat for our stay.

Weekend break on the wster

Fantastic location, out every day for a kayak on the still water. Easy access to Raymond island to see koalas and other wildlife. Absolute bliss.

Amazing facilities.

Household needs are facilitated,which made our stay more convenient and pleasant. The view is awesome. The only feedback is we struggled with hot water supply which took a while to heat up.

The full kitchen facilities and a dining table that could fit 10 guests with out feeling cramped made for great breakfast and dinner meals. Launching our kayaks directly into tge canals and feeling safe on our kayak across to Raymond island. The only negative was the beds were too soft but that's more towards personal preference rather than any fault.

Reviewer Comments: Beautiful spot - lovely house - very, very happy.House was very clean - EXCEPT underneath couch and couch cushions downstairs and upstairs (not sure cleaners have ever moved the couch to clean underneath as it was filthy) ... We have 2 kids and things are always being dropped down side of couch or under it, which is the reason we noticed.Other than that it was a great weekend away and would happily come back.

Reviewer Comments: It was a great house for our two families to stay with young children.Walking distance to town, we had great weather for a swim in the pool and we enjoyed having the boat on the water.However neither of the pool gates would close properly every time. And with a 1.5year old and 2 x 4year olds we had to stress about them getting into the pool or down to the water the whole time. Definitely needs some attention before an accident happens.

Clean and very well appointed. Spacious - we were a couple and two single adults. We had to replace the battery in the garage door remote. The Shire rubbish bin was extremely smelly nd the recycle bin was already overflowing. the gas wok burner was malfunctioning - these are minor quibbles but feedback nonetheless.

Wonderful Place to Stay

We would definitely stay here again. We loved it! Check in process was easy. Gippsland Escapes were very helpful and responded to questions straight away. The house was perfect. We had just the 4 of us but we could have gone with another family, as there was enough beds to sleep 10 people. The house had plenty of bathrooms and all amenities were provided i.e. towels, bedding etc. so we didn't need to bring anything other than ourselves. Great view with the house being on the canal. Disappointing the pool wasn't heated but the kids would have jumped in anyway, but it unfortunately wasn't clean, so wasn't usable. But we hired a boat and went out on the water one day, and went across to Raymond Island. We had a brilliant 4 days away and will definitely do this again hire this home again. Thanks for having us.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Loft is a spacious home with an amazing view . Very practical for a large family. Unfortunately we did struggle with the rubbish not enough outside bins for a large home. Generally the house was very clean but loads of daddy long legs in almost every corner of the inside of the home. Also in the past we have had a mid stay linen change but not this time. We have used Gippsland Escapes for over 13 years. Slightly disappointed especially with the price we paid.

Complained about three to five years ago of water dripping down the inside of the back windows and was told they were aware of it.On the first two days had a lot of rain and it started dripping again down the inside of the property.My wife was outside looking around and when she came back in she slipped on the tiled floor where the water had dripped and hurt her knee and ankle.She spent the rest of the holiday on crutches.We couldn’t enjoy the rest of the holiday.
