We had a snowstorm on the night before we visited this house, so our host, Brandon, made arrangements for us to stay in another of his houses (Smoky Bear cabin). He made sure we arrived safely and checked-in with us to assure that everything was in-order. We appreciate his going above and beyond what might have been expected, and he certainly made our vacation a complete success. And the Smoky Bear cabin more than met our expectations. It was very comfortable, clean, has a gas fireplace so no wood required, and was so close to town that we were able to easily visit nearby restaurants. If the Ridgeview cabin is anything like the Smoky Bear cabin, I'm sure it is a wonderful house, so we would highly recommend staying in either house. We will plan to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well maintained—exactly what you want for a relaxing getaway. We stayed at this property for a last-minute weekend ski trip and very much enjoyed it. The house was well equipped and spacious and the host was very responsive. We chose the property in part because the VRBO listing indicates it is a 4 minute drive to Cataloochee Ski Area. Unfortunately this is not accurate and it is actually a 35 to 40 minute drive to the ski area. Since the purpose of our trip was skiing, this was a bit of a disappointment.

Our host Brandon was very responsive and watched over us during a snowstorm during our visit alleviating any concerns we had. The view from the cabin is outstanding capturing both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The cabin is very clean, has everything you need for a very comfortable visit and the 3 bedroom/3 1/2 baths make it perfect for 3 people sleeping privately.

Ridgeview cabin was lovely. My brother, sister, myself and our spouses truly enjoyed our stay. After a 10 hour drive in three vehicles, it was nice to come to a clean, comfortable cabin ready to go. We were in the area to lay our father to rest in the National Park as well as near his former cabin on Shady Rest, just over the close ridge to the right. There was plenty of room for our three vehicles including my brother-in-law’s large truck. The drive up mountain was steep but the road to the cabin was smooth and easy. My brothers EV had no trouble coming and going (he charged it at the co-op on J Creek). It was an easy trip to some of our favorite restaurants and activities. After a long day on the trails, drives and casino, we returned to the cabin for reminiscing by the fire. Thank you Brandon and family for a stress free stay!

Very Comfortable Cabin

The owner’s communications were great with quick responses to any questions we had. The cabin was very comfortable and well appointed. We loved the large deck and spent most of our time at the cabin on the deck.The beds were comfortable along with the linen. The cabin is close enough to many things to do and secluded enough to enjoy the outdoors. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who likes a bit of seclusion with great Mountain View’s.

We stayed for two weeks at this well-maintained, clean cabin in Waynesville. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the porch was perfect for watching sunrises over the mountains and eating dinner outside in the evening. The drive up the mountain to the cabin is beautiful and easy to navigate. Bonus- There are entertaining groundhogs and wild turkeys that kept us entertained while coming and going. Brandon is easy to communicate with and kind. We truly enjoyed our time at the cabin and look forward to returning again. Thanks for being a great host, Brandon!

Great place for a group

This cabin was impeccably clean, comfortable and well stocked with multi level porches to enjoy the beautiful view. Brandon’s communication was top notch and the check in/check out processes were clear and simple. There were 6 of us (3 couples) and this cabin accommodated us with plenty of space. If you’re familiar with staying in the mountains, a great view usually comes with a steep drive. Ridgeview is a very accurate description; we’re Floridians who are not used to steep grades and the drive was very easy for the view payoff. The area is very quiet and private. If you’re looking for a cabin that places you close to Asheville and the TN side of the National Park, Ridgeview Cabin is a great place/area to stay. We highly recommend this cabin and had a perfect vacation. Thank you Brandon, we appreciate all of the details that you put into your cabin. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Spontaneous trip to the Smokies

We put together a last minute trip with our adult son and niece and her four-year old daughter. We were delighted to find that this cabin is everything it is advertised to be: remote yet accessible, clean, gorgeous views, and stocked with entertainment and essentials. We got to introduce the little one to the mountains, making s’mores, and traveling to Balsam mountain and the park for hikes and picnics. At night, we had everything we needed to eat dinner and settle in, with rocking chairs on a covered porch with an amazing view.

Spectacular memories made

Beautiful property, amazing views. Very clean! Close enough to town for anything you need or want to visit; and far enough away for the calm peaceful vacation feel. Could not ask for a better host. He made sure everything was top notch and always responded quickly if I had a question. This property did not disappoint! I currently live in Charlotte, NC with my wife, our 3 children and our dog. WE LOVE THE MOUNTAINS! It’s just under a 3-hour drive for us from Charlotte to Maggie Valley and we are over there every chance we get. Anytime the kids have no school on a Monday or Friday we are there for a 3-day weekend…doesn’t matter the time of year. The Maggie Valley / Waynesville area is the perfect location for anything you could want to do outdoors. Endless hiking, awesome waterfalls, tubing (snow & river), rafting, fishing, playing in the creeks, snow boarding & skiing, apple picking and on and on. Our family loves to be outdoors with nature every chance we get. What started with 1 vacation rental home in 2014 has now grown to 4. I personally manage all the listings, bookings and communication between guests to ensure an awesome trip. Any questions, comments, concerns or issues I am always available by phone, text or e-mail.

Why they chose this property

This is the 4th, and largest property in the Maggie Valley / Waynesville area that we own. We fell in love with this home for many reasons, one of them being the size and layout. We are a family of 5 and it allows us to really spread out. It's a 2 story home with each floor being 1000 sq. ft in size. The main floor has a living area, kitchen, large dining area and a master bedroom. The lower floor has 2 additional master bedrooms and a second family room / hang out area. There are 6 sliding glass doors in the house and every one of them lead out to the back deck. You can see the views, and access the decks from any room in the house. The long range mountain views and the 1.5 acres make it an incredible property. It's a beautiful 10 minute drive up/down the mountain from the main road. You fell like you are on top of the world, but only 10 minutes away from the valley floor.

What makes this property unique

We have frequent interaction with our guests through email and phone. We respond to emails very quickly as messages are sent right to our phones. We are also very good about picking up our phones and returning phone calls in a timely manner. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions once you arrive to our home.
