Trains are a factor of life in all Canadian mountain towns. From the very beginning Canmore was built around the train line, including 90% of the local hotels and condos in town, which means that this property is along a train line, however, it is very well insulated against sound. Bedrooms are on the opposite side of the condo from the train line and the train should not disturb even the lightest of sleepers. Watching the trains go past is actually quite fascinating and not just for the train buffs! Please read our guest reviews for previous insight.

The lodging was very accommodating for 10 people.The washing machine in one unit was not working andwould have been nice for bigger groups.Rockies Rentals should look into haveing Bear maceavailable for hikers and if used charge the rental.Renting and returning to sport shops is kind of a painwe ended up giving ours to a random hiker on the street.Also a small soft side cooler for use while here would be a bonus for packing lunches etc to use by renters.Overall a great time and experience.Mark Wisconsin, USA

Pleasant Experience

We stayed here in early June 2026 and had a pleasant experience overall. The unit is large, clean, and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. While the building is somewhat older, it is well maintained and offers plenty of space. During our stay, there was frequent rain, and the parking area occasionally became flooded, making parking a little challenging. The unit is also close to a railway line, so there can be some train noise at times. Despite these minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unit to travelers looking for a spacious and well-appointed place to stay.

Had a fantastic stay. The location couldn't be better, tucked away in a scenic area, yet still just a short jaunt to anything you could need. The large windows brought in tons of natural light and offered stunning mountain views that never got old. We'd absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Canmore.

Great spot- easy walk to downtown, rental spot next door, restaurants right below for quick orders. It's a big space, with basic furniture, and 4 bedrooms - so great for a big group.

This was a great venue for 9 of us - plenty of room. Easy walk to the Main Street. Train nearby not an issue for us and in fact provided some entertainment for the kids. The unit is showing some minor wear and tear but nothing that distracted from our stay.

The proximity to amenities and the ski hill was perfect location for our Christmas in the Rockies with our small family. Raj and his staff worked with me to fix minor issues when we checked in. We look forward to another visit soon.

Spacious Apartment for a Fun Group Getaway

We had a very pleasant stay in the apartment. We were 10 people and had plenty of space, cooked good meals in the kitchen and spend a great time. Banff is just a 20 minute drive away and you can walk easily to Canmore downtown, which is a beautiful little town. So definitely worth the visit.

Carefree in Canmore

The fact that each couple had their own room and own bathroom with shower is what drew us to this place and it didn’t disappoint. Great location, great amenities. Would stay here again!

Great getaway

First time in Canmore and our group loved it. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. Parking is a little crazy at times because it's shared with local businesses, but other than that, great spot!
