Whether you're rafting & hiking in the summer or skiing & snowmobiling in the winter, this getaway offers easy access to an array of year-round sports in the Carson & Hood River area!

Cruise along the scenic roads of Carson to find your tastefully appointed home-away-from-home. Inside offers 1,760 square feet of living space, where vaulted ceilings and a wealth of windows bring the immaculate mountain and river views into the home.

The living room is not only a great place to soak up the views, but is also the perfect spot to kick back and relax. Melt into the plush sofa or armchairs, flip on the gas fireplace, and stream your favorite show on the flat-screen TV!

As the group grows hungry, get to work in the fully equipped kitchen outfitted with stainless steel appliances. After all of the food is prepped and ready, settle at the breakfast bar or elegant 8-person table for a quality meal with your loved ones.

When the sun sets, lounge on the furnished deck and share a bottle of wine while soaking up the spectacular views. With southern exposure, you can revel at the gorgeous Columbia River and some sensational sunrises!

For a replenishing night's sleep, retreat to one of 3 bedrooms throughout the home, all with brand new memory foam-topped mattresses. The third bedroom includes twin beds that can be elevated at the head and foot by remote. There are also 2 bathrooms in the home, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a shower/tub combo.

With 'Gorge Retreat's' amazing location, you'll be within minutes of endless outdoor activities! Go hiking or mountain biking at Dog Mountain Trail, take a zip lining tour with Skamania Lodge, or go golfing at Elk Ridge Golf Course.

The Pacific Crest Trail and Gorge National Scenic Area are also nearby, where you're sure to have an unbelievable day of exploring the wilderness! Also be sure to check out the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks which connects Oregon and Washington.

Columbia River and Lake Bonneville are just minutes down the road, making it easy to have some waterfront fun. From kayaking and paddle boarding to windsurfing, kite boarding, and rafting, there's something for people of all ages to enjoy! For a calm day, simply go boating and fishing on the water.

In the winter, go skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows, snowmobiling on one of the local trails, or visit the Carson Hot Springs. You'll also be within minutes of numerous renowned breweries, such as Walking Man Brewing, Backwoods Brewing Company, and Thunder Island Brewing Co.

Another popular hot spot is Hood River, only 35 minutes away, home to several more breweries, the Mount Hood Railroad, and Hood River Waterfront Park. Wine enthusiasts will love being close to numerous vineyards, including Cathedral Ridge Winery, Stave & Stone Winery, and AniChe Cellars.
