Parlay at Sunset is a large 5 Bedroom (sleeps 11), 3 Bathroom beachfront vacation rental on the beautiful island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Located on the calm, clear waters of Eleuthera's Caribbean side you can spend hours playing on the beach, snorkeling in the clear shallow waters or just soaking in the warm Bahamian sunshine. The beach at Parlay at Sunset is absolutely stunning. The usually calm 'Caribbean' blue waters are perfect for kayaking, snorkeling and diving. The sandy beach is miles long and filled with amazing seashells, large and small, all waiting to be collected and treasured.

Located on the private beach (100+ meters both ways until next properties) , clean, perfectly maintained property. Everything that you need for your vacation is there. Will definitely be back.

Our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 children) had a great time at Parlay at Sunset. The house was a great size and layout for our group and was very well positioned for exploring beaches to the north and south.

Great Escape

This property is exactly as advertised. Large enough for a big family although there was only two of us. Very private beach, every needed amenity. If you’re looking to get away from it all, this is a wonderful peaceful spot to do so!

Fantastic Vacation!

This property is amazing and we had NO disappointments! The beds were comfortable and felt like home versus a hotel bed. The kitchen had almost every appliance you could want to help prep meals. The Screenroom was our favorite place to take our meals. We spent most of our week kayaking and snorkeling off the beach outside the house. There is so much wildlife right in the water right off the shore. We will cherish this trip and hope to return to Parlay at Sunset!

We did parlay at sunset ;)

Parlay at Sunset is a great villa. I was amazed how much rooms and space we had. Many bedrooms, sofas, kitchen appliances, etc. On the first day when we reached the patio, we saw the beach setup with all the kayaks, paddle boards , we knew we made the right choice. This villa is spacious, clean, directly on the beach. Just amazing !

40th Birthday Celebration

The property, the owners and caretakers were wonderful. There was plenty of room for our group of 6 to hang out. The screened in porch is wonderful. This place has everything you need to enjoy the water, paddle boards, boogie boards, kayaks, snorkels, etc. The location of the property is great, nice and close to the Island Farm, which we almost visited daily for fresh bread and produce. This property doesn’t disappoint, we’ll definitely book another stay at this property.

Just a wonderful property and time!

Parlay at Sunset was just as advertised! Spacious, clean, hospitable, and packed with amenities. Both host and property manger were super communicative and accommodating. Vehicle rental and transport to-and-from the airport were extremely convenient. Great to have such a responsive and informed resource locally, as the island infrastructure is limited and you'll benefit from the help in navigating requests. Oh, and the sunsets right out the house, through the screened sunroom (clutch!) and directly onto the beach...amazing!

A Perfect Escape!

**Parkay at Sunset - A Perfect Escape!**This was our second stay at Parlay at Sunset, and it was every bit as amazing as the first. The house is perfectly situated with a beach right in the backyard, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling, critter hunting at night, or simply relaxing by the water. The sunsets here are nothing short of magical – the view of the water almost looks like liquid glass.The property is well-equipped with everything you need. The generator is a AWESOME feature, ensuring we never had to worry about power. The house was spotless, and Diana and Charles were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.It’s conveniently located near a large grocery store in Rock Sound, and a smaller one in Tarpum Bay, so stocking up on essentials is easy. Plus, the dock is a great spot for fresh fish—perfect for cooking up a meal in the fully stocked kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook at home.It’s just a short 30-minute drive to Pascal's, where you can enjoy a swim-up pool bar and a beautiful beach – we visited multiple times during our trip. And definitely don’t miss the stargazing at night – it’s truly mind-blowing!Before you leave, be sure to pick up a straw hat from Stevie in Tarpum Bay—it's a perfect souvenir.The South Side of Eleuthera has so much to offer, and this property is a perfect base to explore it all. Highly recommend! We will be booking again next summer!

The pictures do NOT do this property justice! The beach was amazing and so very private. We used the kayaks everyday. The sunsets are perfect from the screened in porch. We house is very well stocked and perfect for a family. It was just the two of us, but the space is plenty big for a family to spread out. We found Rock Sound to be a great little town. Wild Orchid restaurant was our favorite. So many great beaches to explore! Had an amazing time!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Amazing vacation place for our family!

This place was perfect for our family. There was enough indoor/outdoor space to spend lazy days unwinding at home, or go out adventuring. The equipment at the house was easily accessible, in good shape and well organized so we could paddle board and snorkel very easily. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and dishes to make meal prep easy. Diana helped us organize car rental, allowing us to enjoy a fishing charter in the North as well as visit other beaches and sights along the Queen's Highway. The information on shopping and other tips were very helpful from this host! It's a beach cottage, so there were some insects and a few quirks, but nothing that significantly detracted from our enjoyment of the place. Overall, a very relaxing place to stay.

Perfect seclusion!

This place was fantastic, so much space. Excellent communication! We absolutely love the amenities, and please read the brochure. There are so many wonderful add-ons, we enjoyed catering delivery from cocojo’s, arriving late on the island, having food drinks, and then concierge grocery delivery from the marketplace. What a wonderful way to show up. The beach is a bit rocky, but they provide all kinds of water shoes, but if you have your own, bring them! we saw conch, all kinds of wonderful fish, so many starfish, and sand dollars. Please respect this beautiful place. Don’t bring any of those creatures out of the water, observe, but don’t take! You can walk miles in any direction and not even see a human, this place is so beautifully remote, but yet only 15 minutes from the rock sound airport. This is the epitome of convenience yet seclusion. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! oh, and there is this fantastic dog that comes around, I don’t know if she’s stray, but she 100% is the friendliest most amazing dog, we bought several cans of dog food while there to feed her, she is a wonderful companion to hang out with, and would love some snuggles, please give her some!

Incredible Vacation!

We had an incredible vacation in Tarpum Bay! The house is gorgeous and perfectly located! Literally has everything you need for a great week! We explored every part of the island we could & even went to Spanish Wells (a golf cart island)! The water & life right in front of the house was the best! We would love to come back some day! Definitely buy/bring an underwater camera! Olympus Tough TG-6 Digital Camera package we got on Amazon!Its great for all weather and all trips! Some things we wish we knew before we came…. Most places are cash only & at least 3x the price of US. When we do this again, we will check one suitcase of basic food/drinks for the week! Gas is over $6 a gallon! If you drive and explore like us, have plenty of gas money! We took the Eleuthera Outdoor Center Paddling Tour right in Rock Sound and it was great! For $135 each you snorkel a canal (amazing!), fed turtles, fed stingray, and even fed pigs! They said they frequently see dolphins and can sometimes swim with them but we didn’t see them on our trip. It was well worth the adventure! We ate at 4 restaurants & all were great! Buccaneer’s had a lovely breakfast, Captain Q was a great dinner, Mel’s was great smoothies, French Leave was a great atmosphere/food but very expensive! We also tried the bakery in town and each had something different & all was great! Most importantly EVERYONE is so kind in every town! It’s a very safe, quiet island to relax in peace!

Ein Traumurlaub auf Eleuthera – absolut perfekt!Wir (zwei Familien mit insgesamt 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern) haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in diesem traumhaften Haus direkt am Strand verbracht – und hätten es nicht besser treffen können! Die Lage ist einfach perfekt: zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig, mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht und einem wunderschönen Strand direkt vor der Tür.Das Wasser war ideal zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln – wir konnten viele Tiere beobachten und die Natur hautnah genießen. Besonders begeistert waren wir von der Ausstattung für Wasseraktivitäten: Kajaks, Stand-up-Paddle-Boards und vieles mehr – alles da, um jeden Tag etwas Neues zu erleben.Auch das Haus selbst ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Küche war top ausgestattet – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt, sodass wir gemeinsam mit viel Freude kochen konnten. Die Schlafzimmer waren super gemütlich und hochwertig eingerichtet, wir haben alle wunderbar geschlafen.Alles in allem war dieser Aufenthalt für uns einfach perfekt – wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der Kontakt mit Diana war ebenfalls hervorragend: schnelle Antworten, super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

I ve Travelled to the Bahamas more than 45 times. I stopped counting at 45. I’ve never stayed in really large property with more than 3 Bedrooms This Property was an excellent choice as it will be for Everyone who chooses this property. I chose this property because of a last minute Gathering for family, The Amount of space, rooms , Bathrooms, outdoor space,Living space, water tanks and Listen up ,A Generator which is the most important thing you need on an out island in the Bahamas. As you can Hear it kick in numerous times , so when you see the clocks time is off that is why just leave them ,but The Generator worked perfectly is a perfect place to be trust.Unfortunately with the US government s foolishness at airports was the overwhelming reason a lot of people didn’t join us.we truly Enjoyed the time there. This property Has Everything you need inside and outside From A washer and Dryer on both sides of the property Plenty towels inside and outside, plenty water Equipment and toys , sunscreen and other outdoor creams for your safety beach chairs and

We were very pleased with our stay at Parlay Sunset! It was a beautiful spot on the calm side of the island. It was so nice to have our own beach! The property was well taken care of. The cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay!

Nice, big home steps from the beach. Very clean. Had everything we needed including beach towels and gear. Never had a chance to snorkel at the house but there are many opportunities around the island to snorkel.There were only 4 of us in the house so we had plenty of space to spread out. The caretaker, although we never met him, was very helpful.Make sure you know how to use WhatsApp as it is widely used on the island. very helpful.

Great stay in Tarpum Bay

We absolutely loved our stay at Parlay at Sunset! The house was great! Loved the layout, the recent updates and amenities in the house. The beach is great! It’s better at high tide when the rocks are covered as you walk in but once you get past them, it is smooth and beautiful! You can walk out pretty far before it even touches your waist. The sunsets there are gorgeous! Definitely take bug spray though! The little “no see ‘ems” are all over the island at night. I’ve stayed at a few places and always had them. Any issues we had with the house were promptly taken care of by the house manager, Charles, or the house owner, Diana. I appreciate both of them for their prompt responses and follow up communication. We used several vendors the house owner recommended and I am so glad we did. All were wonderful! I would definitely stay here again!

Me and my family (9 in all) visited Parlay at Sunset for a week and everything was amazing! Diana provides so much good information before your stay and it was all very helpful. Check in was easy and communication with Diana and the property manager Charles was always prompt. The house is upgraded and has everything you could need. We had 9 adults but the house still felt spacious and open and never cramped. The beach is awesome and everything you could want. Sprawling powdery sand with lots of lounge chairs, tables and shade under the gazebo. The swimming area is pristine with a mix of rock and sand in various layers which made it nice for swimming and for snorkeling. We saw a few rays, lobster, fish, conch, jellyfish, squid, starfish, etc, it was magical. We also happened to be there during Homecoming so we met so many nice people in Tarpum Bay and Rock Sound. Can't wait to go back!

Grateful for Parlay at Sunset

Few properties anticipate vacationers' needs as thoroughly as this one. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beach area was like a mini resort, the property manager was available to us and handled any issues quickly, its proximity to Tarpum Bay helped us meet wonderful people and get fresh fish, lobster, and conch salad, and the small market in town met our needs. Children are clearly welcomed here with a clean, charming play area. They even had enough laundry hampers and towels for a large, busy family. Just remember to bring water shoes and your insect repellent of choice--you will likely need these wherever you go in Eleuthera anyway. Such wonderful memories were made!

Tarpon Bay Beach Paradise

The property was so beautiful and made you never want to leave! We enjoyed snorkeling in the crystal clear water right outside the backdoor and stargazing under the clear starlit sky while listening to the waves crash just feet from us. We could not have asked for a more peaceful and serene place to be! Diana the owner and Charles the property manager were so kind and helpful the entire trip from start to finish which made a perfect experience even better than we could have ever imagined. We can’t wait to come back!

While we live in the greater Toronto area we have always loved the beaches of Mexico and the Caribbean. Eleuthera is a beautiful island filled with the softest pink sand beaches in the world and the warmest and friendliest people you will ever meet.

Why they chose this property

We have had the fortune of being able to travel throughout the Caribbean and Mexico over the years. In 2014 we stayed on Eleuthera for a week and absolutely fell in love with it. When we found this beautiful home was for sale we made our dreams of owning our own beach home a reality. Now, we wish to share it with families looking to make memories of their own. We hope you choose to spend your vacation with us at Parlay at Sunset.

What makes this property unique

Privacy is a precious thing while you are on vacation. If you are like us you do not necessarily enjoy being crowded into an all-inclusive resort with a thousand other people. If you like waking up to the birds chirping and the sound of the waves gently lapping against own private beach then Parlay at Sunset is the place for you.
