Wow. This place was great for our family Christmas holiday! Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable. Cozy. Lots of fun things to do inside! We cant wait to go back!
Absolutely loved the place! Abundant space for a large group. Everything was just as advertised! Very timely responses from the owner. Would highly recommend!
This is our fifth year staying at this wonderful cabin. It is extremely well-appointed and is great for families. It's a beautiful setting on a cove in the Les Cheneaux Islands and is a short 10 minute drive to Hessel and a few minutes further to Cedarville. It is peaceful and feels remote, but it is conveniently located for exploring this beautiful area. The hosts are fantastic and respond quickly to questions or concerns.
A very well appointed house for our family of 14 people ages 1-68. There are plenty of things to do at the house and easy to do day trips to places like Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon falls, and Sault St. Marie. The towns of Hessel and Cedarville are very cute. It was a week of fun and relaxation!

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for leaving the place in such great shape—it was truly appreciated. We’d love to host you again if your travels bring you back to the beautiful Upper Peninsula!
We had a great and relaxing stay, there was plenty of space for our large group. The property was beautiful with lots of room to spread out. The property offered lots of things to do for all ages and was close to lots of hiking and biking spots. We had a couple of unforeseen hiccups, but the owners and property manager were very helpful and kind and easy to communicate with and took care of the issues very quickly. We appreciate their hospitality and would recommend their lovely property to all families. They even have another property right next door for even larger groups, who may need two homes.
A beautiful setting on Lake Huron. We had 6 adults and 5 children and more than enough room in the home to enjoy all its amenities. It is so very kid friendly inside and out. Carol was very responsive to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this lovely home. Thank you for our wonderful family memories in the UP!! Everyone said we need to come back here!!

Winter Wonderland
We've rented this place multiple times and it just continues to impress. Great place to settle in for some warm times with family and friends. The waffle mix and maple syrup left for us by the hosts was a nice touch that we all enjoy. Can't recommend this place enough.

We love our repeat customers! Thank you for choosing to stay with us :)
Property was great. Carol was wonderful to work with. Kids and adults alike enjoyed all the extras provided in the “kids club house,” kayaks, canoe, lifejackets, paddleboard. Numerous games of volleyball were great. Bonus we were able to see the Northern Lights in two occasions. Highly recommend this property.

About the host
Hosted by Martin and Carol
We were both born and raised in Michigan. Our best memories are our summers with our family and friends at our Brulee Point home in the beautiful Upper Peninsula.
Why they chose this property
We renovated a seasonal 1950's cottage into Brulee Point Lodge to accommodate our lifestyle "The more the merrier". We both have large families and wanted room for us all to gather, slow down, relax, appreciate nature, and build memories with family and friends - that's what it's all about.
We would love nothing more than for you to stay and enjoy yourself so much that you want to come back!
What makes this property unique
Location. Nestled among the cedar trees down by the lake, Brulee Point Lodge offers majestic sunrises overlooking Hessel Bay and the west entrance of the Les Cheneaux Island chain. Tranquil retreat with protected deep water frontage and permanent dock. Many sites to see in the area.
