Forsyth Park 2 Bedroom Beauty

This old Victorian home boasts beautiful bay windows, original fireplaces (non-operable), ornate moldings, a carefully curated courtyard, and elegant modern finishings, but the best feature is its view of Forsyth Park. The home directly overlooks the park. The juxtaposition of the elegant home and its view, which is both calming and breathtaking, makes it a can't miss property. This home build in the late 1800's has been renovated to fit our guest needs.

The private home is on the second floor of a duplex. Comprising of two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, 4 to 6 people can be accommodated in comfort. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for southern home cooking.... away from home! Entertain yourselves in front of the flat-screen TV, relax in the beautiful courtyard, or watch the world go by the infamous Forsyth Park from the front porch.

Property includes:

1) We provide a single parking spot in the back of the home. There is free street parking around the corner from the home.

Great location; lovely place!

The great location right on Forsyth Park means so many things are within easy walking distance; it also means there is some traffic noise, but it’s totally worth it for the green park views. There is, of course, a set of stairs; it’s Savannah. But the stairs are well lit and there is a hand rail. The space has a nice mix of historical character and modern amenities, with good-sized rooms and comfortable furniture, and it was very clean. Bed linens and the primary bed were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels provided, even wash cloths, which are rare these days. (We didn’t use the other bed.) There were only two of us but it was great to have two full bathrooms nonetheless. There were even an iron and ironing board provided! We are looking forward to staying here again when we next visit Savannah.

Savannah Stay at Forsyth Park

We had a nice stay for 2 nights while we were visiting Savannah. We experienced an alarm that we could not turn off for the refrigerator but David took care of for us when we checked in with that issue. There could have been some additional towels/washcloths. The location is perfect to explore the city. We enjoyed both nearby coffee shops and restaurants. The host was responsive to our needs during the stay.

Fantastic stay

The house iis lovely. The check-in process was very easy and clear directions were given. There was plenty of room for my family of 5. The stairs leading up to the place are steep, but no one in my family had any issues. We did not really use the kitchen during our short stay so I cannot comment on this. However, the kitchen was nice and spacious. As previous reviewers have stated, there is some loud street noise during the night. However, you can't beat the location overlooking beautiful Forsythe Park. We had a fantastic stay!
