AMENITIES: At North, Resort-style amenities include three lavish pools, two scenic lakes, a fishing dock, fire pits, a fitness center, private dune crossovers, lawn games, a pirate ship playscape, and more! Enjoy on-site restaurants such as a Mediterranean bistro and a pizzeria, a coffee shop and café, while the Town Center hosts events, activities, and live music in peak season and on holiday weekends.

MAIN LIVING SPACE: Gather with your group in an impressive living space that has an open, free-flowing plan. Relax amid modern, coastal décor and enjoy plenty of seating for family and guests. You’ll love the thoughtfully equipped kitchen. Or, have fun cooking up the day's catch on the gas grill. Then, dine al fresco on the large, private deck, with the sound of the waves in the background.

SLEEPING QUARTERS: The home sleeps 9, with a master king suite, a cheerful queen bedroom with balcony, and a bunk room that sleeps 5. Each bedroom has access to a balcony (it’s shared between bunk and queen rooms), and the master enjoys peek-a-boo Gulf views, mind-boggling sunsets, and excellent bird-watching across the adjacent natural landscape. The master has a beautiful, private bath and super-size closet that can easily fit a pack-and-play or two for guests who have little ones. There’s a second, shared bathroom that serves the other bedrooms, and all rooms have plenty of storage, all-new furniture, and Smart TVs.

FABULOUS!

We loved the house, location and customer service. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living room was cozy and spacious. The master bedroom was the perfect size with a walk in closet and large private deck. Highly recommend a golf cart, even though the house is walking distance from everything. The Cinnamon Shores team was expectational. Friendly, attentive and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

Amanda, So glad you had a great stay. I apologize about the TV, we ended up having Direct TV come out and replace the satellite dish, our salt air is extremely hard on anything metal. You are correct, the pretty orange and yellow bedroom is a Full size bed, perfect for kids, and the front bedroom is a Queen bed. Happy House is perfect for a small family. Can't wait to have you back for another visit! Thank you so much!

The house is gorgeous, on a quiet street, very spacious, awesome layout, and close to all activities. We didn't have the rest of our family with us this year, but still chose to book Casa Hermosa over other CS properties because we just love it that much.

Long Weekend Away…

We had the best time at this rental in the Cinnamon Shores community. The house was super clean and just like the pictures. Warm and inviting and the kitchen had all the appliances and utensils you could need. Beautiful sunsets off the back decks to end a good day at the beach… The community was adorable and very clean. Renting a golf cart makes all the difference. We were able to travel and try out all the different pools and enjoyed the over all community.. This is the perfect house for all people but especially for families with kids and small children and located on a peaceful quiet street. Can’t wait to come again and enjoy the beautiful ocean at Cinnamon Shore.

The house is beautiful, clean, great location, and has everything you’d need for a week at the beach. The community is gorgeous, and we especially love all the extra amenities like live music, movie night, s’mores, pools, restaurants. Unfortunately most of those weren’t available during our stay due to heavy rains, so that was disappointing, but hopefully we’ll have better weather on our next visit. The house was not ready at 4pm check-in time and we had cold groceries waiting in the car, which is why I have it 4 stars.

The house was immaculate when we arrived. Although there were a couple of things not working in the Happy House during our stay, our stay was still wonderful. The ice maker would not dispense ice and the front door handle was broken. Maintenance came and I am sure these things were fixed ASAP, but could not be repaired during our stay. The house is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to both pools. The rooms are a great size and was perfect for our family of 6. The back patio offered privacy and the front rocking chair was a great place to sit and watch all the neighborhood activity. Highly recommend the Happy House!

The house definitely needs updated. The bathrooms were not the cleanest and the showers liner was filthy. In the bedroom with the bunks, we had to wash 3 out of 4 duvet cover because of stains. The refrigerator needs to be updated. The doors do not close easily and you have to push very hard. When we arrived there was a small dead cockroach on the kitchen counter and the day we left a huge alive cockroach was running across the kitchen floor. I would also suggest more outdoor furniture outside for the backyard especially the upstairs deck so you can enjoy the view. Cinnamon shore also needs to keep up with their pools. I went to all 3 and and the only one that was clean was the dune pool. We did really enjoy the s’mores campfire at the beach and the surfing lessons.

The community is a short walk to the beautiful beach, the staff at the welcome desk are prompt and helpful. There is a mid-sized grocery store about 10 minutes drive from the house, and an HEB about 25 minutes drive. There are several small restaurants near by with amazing sea food.The only downside for me was the scented plug ins throughout the house - I have found 6 of them, unplugged them and left them outside the house for the duration of my stay because the chemical fragrance was completely overwhelming, to the point of waking me up the first night. I am not allergic to anything, I simply lead a pretty organic and chemical/fragrance-free life, so going from my habits to a house with 6 plug ins was a complete shock to my nostrils and throat which became very irritated.After the first night I could still smell the fragrance and asked for maintenance to change the air filter, which they did within 30 minutes of my request. When I checked out I asked the front desk if all the homes in the community had plug ins and she wasn't sure as that's a choice the individual home owners make, but she confirmed that all the air vents have some scent in them. I truly hate to not be able to go back to this house or community for my next vacation to Port Aransas due to this, but I can't stand strong fragrances and will have to find a more fitting house in the future.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our front porch view was of a junky boat that was parked directly across the street from us the entire trip. This made it very challenging to back out my suburban and my friends F250. If you have rules, they need to be enforced. We parked our boat in the area we were supposed to. I was disappointed that Cinnamon Shore makes such a big deal about not parking in the street on all of the paper work, but allows a "homeowner" to do as they please all weekend. Also, upon our late night arrival, I folded back our king bedspread to find a large brown stain on our fitted sheet. I am glad there were extra sheets in the closet, but this is the last thing I wanted to do after a 7 hour drive at 2am. Also, my son is 9 months old. He was crawling all over the house and there were times that his knees and tops of his feet were black from the dirt on the floor.We are not sure if we will stay here again.

One negative thing was that the house had a very strong mildew smell upon arrival. It seemed to be coming from the upstairs master bathroom under the sink. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we could want. We loved the beach and the umbrella and chair rental was wonderful as was the ability to rent a golf cart. We will definetely return! thhe area is lovely and Cinnamon Shores is a very beautiful property with many amentities.

Week at the beach

This place is amazing. Everything was clean, comfortable and orderly. We enjoyed the location and all of the amenities the community offered. We had one under 2 years with us and the house was equipped to handle all ages. The kitchen and grill were used for almost all of our meals and every needed appliance and accessory was there. The outdoor shower was handy to rinse off the salt and sand from the beach before entering the house. The only problem we experienced was with Wifi connection. The office responded promptly however it took the service provider days to resolve the issue. The down side was that none of the TV's in the bedrooms worked due to them all being connected by wifi using Roku. However the large TV in the living area worked well and the dvd option on the other TV's was available. We weren't there to watch TV so it wasn't a huge issue. We spent most of our time at the beach and the community pools but did go into to town shopping and also booked an offshore fishing trip. We would not hesitate to vacation here again.

Very nice house! Clean. Kitchen pots and pans appliances were all there! We brought our spices but there were some already there! Good hot water and comfortable beds. Cinnamon Shore nice!

Relaxing Spring Break Trip!

The house was immaculate - even the fridge! - and well-maintained. It is nicely decorated, comfortable, and great for a family. The neighborhood is beautiful and everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful. It is a quick drive to the restaurants and store in Port A. We ended up renting a beach golf cart on the last day to make our trips to the beach (with all our gear and children) easier; however, it is definitely walkable and not necessary to have a cart. The only thing we didn't love was the fact that cars can drive along the beach - it is basically a two way road. This initially made us nervous with our young children, but it seems to be just the way it is in Port Aransas, so we only mention this as a 'heads up' to others who may be new to the area and not aware. We absolutely recommend this property and look forward to our next visit to Cinnamon Shore!

The house has everything for basic cooking and grilling and a cute pergola and grill at the back. It is a little ways from the beach so a golf cart was really practical to have. We love Cinnamon Shore and we can't wait to come back. It truly is a great family vacation and Cinnamon Shore is a dreamy spot on the Texas Coast - you feel like you could be in Florida, Hawaii or a small California beach community. Amazing.

We loved the woodwork, the tropical colors, the cottage seaside charm, oh and all the seashells! The layout of this home was awesome. Spectacular views from the master bedroom veranda, just so comfy and breathtaking. The back porch and pergola was very private and inviting and so peaceful and green!!! Great place for morning breakfast and noon bbqs! Even the laundry room felt like a cheerful place bringing in the views! The upstairs was nice and we loved the Master bath...enjoyed the glassed in shower with the rock floor massaging our feet! The huge tub was oh so relaxing as well. So many beautiful added touches to the sea glass counterparts in masterbath, to the walk in master closet with desk and yes a window. The Happy House has long driveway and outdoor shower, easy access in and out of the house. Beautiful location in Cinnamon Shores. The office staff were all soo accommodating to our needs. Always friendly, always professional and very caring. The house was clean, very clean, and fresh and kitchen was stocked. Nice appliances, cabinets and loved all of the windows and doors!!! We appreciate the owners letting us stay there and we hope to return to the Happy House again!!! We loved it!!!
