The home is huge. Lots of room inside and outside. Great views of the lake from inside the house and on the large deck. Nice sandy beach with a floating dock and lily pad to swim to. Nice to see the family photos in the house to make you feel at home. Paula also very quick and clear to communicate with.
This property is breathtaking. The photos don’t even do justice compared to the beauty of this cottage. There was a few of us and I must say there was more than enough space for everybody. The private fenced off beach and the floating dock was the biggest hits for our stay. Will be back again and again

Thank you for the kind words. I’m so glad you enjoyed yourselves.
The cottage and grounds are beautiful. There is a large, broad lawn which contains a play structure and leads down to a small sandy beach and the lake, with a fence between them - perfect for the 2-, 4- and 6-year old children in our group. The cottage itself is beautifully laid out with ample bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of seven, a large dining room and comfortable spaces in which to gather. A few minor inconveniences: we would have liked to have had linens and towels provided by the host and some closet and drawer space available to us in the bedrooms and bathrooms.
Stayed at this property in late july with my family. The cottage feels spacious with a lovely master bedroom and adjacent room which can provide a separate area within the bigger cottage. The property was clean and comfortable cottage finishings not ostentatious. There was a large well maintained lawn perfect for badminton/frisbee. The Beach had nice sand but the weed free area narrows as it goes out in the water which is fine as there is still plenty of space to enjoy the lake. Watercraft were available as in the listing and the lake was fairly quiet and peaceful. Property was enjoyed by the staying adults and children alike
Our host was responsive to our questions and was informative on hiking locations, nearby events and fishing.
We were glad we choose this property.
The location is beautiful and quiet and the house is spacious and well laid out. The wood burning stove turned out to be essential and not just a cozy nice-to-have. Paula was very quick to respond when booking and was flexible with checkout which was wonderful. The only downside of the weekend were two regional power outages and realizing the cottage does not have a generator. This resulted in a loss of power for Saturday morning and evening meaning no ability to cook, shower or flush toilets. This also meant no heat aside from the wood burning stove and it was -30. We had my 80 year old mother and 6 year old grandson and a cottage without heat, or running water in the middle of winter is unpleasant. If you are going to rent this cottage be sure they have purchased a generator if you are there in winter.

Hi, thanks for providing feedback on your stay with us. Thank you for the kind remarks about the beauty of the cottage. We’re so sorry all of Muskoka had a brief unusual hydro outage on Saturday night. Luckily, I was able to remotely monitor the cottage temperature and it did not dip below 71 degrees with the use of the wood stove. Also, we brought you additional water and provided late checkout. We hope you’ll give us another chance to host you in the future so you can get the full experience of this beautiful place.
We were able to monitor the heat remotely and pleased it never dipped below 71 degrees during the brief electrical outage. This is a result of having a furnace and a wood stove. For water, we responded by bringing you more water jugs on that snowy night. As well, we provided you with late checkout.
A property that truly cannot be truly appreciated from the photos! This large comfortable cottage has ample room both inside and out. There’s great access to water, and all the equipment you’ll need to enjoy what the lake has to offer.
Paula is a warm and knowledge host, and the town of Gravenhurst is easily accessible giving you a nice balance of seclusion and amenities.
Comfortable, large cottage with a terrific view of the lake. Use of canoe, kayak, paddle board, and floating dock was very much appreciated and kept us active. Exactly what we needed after a year locked up enduring the pandemic.

Spacious cottage with a great beach
We really enjoyed our stay at your cottage. The cottage itself was very spacious and comfortably accomodated our family of 8. The children loved the beach and everyone appreciated having access to the paddle board, kayak and canoe. Thank you Paula for your assistance in making our family holiday one to remember.

Great property - highly recommend!!
This is a beautiful property with a fantastic view right on the water with a private beach, lots of yard space and a fire pit. The cottage itself was very clean, had all the basics, and spacious for our group of 7. Paula was a great host: very friendly and quick to respond to questions/provide information when needed. My only comment was that we didn’t have access to a BBQ and wish I could have stayed longer!

Thank you for the kind words. I'm a bit confused about the bbq comment as I just bought a Presige 500 Napoleon bbq. Its on the deck. Prior to that we had a broil king bbq and love to bbq. I even leave a spare full propane tank in the garage. I'm sorry that you didn't use it but I am glad you enjoyed.

Beautiful Location
The majority of the cottages on Pine Lake have trees that block their view but not this cottage it's wide open no obstructions just beauty at it's finest. Everyday we went swimming in the Lake a little cool but very clean. My Grandson was upset when he had to leave loved the sandy beach especially the water. Paula was very helpful when asking her questions about the cottage also what Gravenhurst has in the way of stores. We have been renting cottages for a long time but this one was special. Sobey's is about 10 minutes away, along with other stores. We had a great week no problems what so ever.

I am a retired teacher with a property of paradise. I have years of travel experience living and traveling in Canada and abroad in Asia. I know what it takes to make people feel welcome to enjoy their stay. I will make sure every detail at the cottage is ready for you and you are well informed about the area around and how to best enjoy the property. I am passionate about my property so I ensure that you will be welcome.
Why they chose this property
Winterized large place on municipal road with snow plowing. Great for snowmobiling, snow shoeing, skating and winter carnivals. The beach is sandy which is unusual for Muskoka and it has a flat shallow entry to water which is great for families and friends. Clear clean swim water, too. Jump in the kayak, canoe or paddle board. Fun. Firepit for night. You’ll have to come inside sometime, so you may as well be comfortable, right? We’ve got you covered. I have loved cottage life since childhood. We finally have a place with all conveniences inside and out.
The large, open concept living and dining room combination layout provides ample room for the family to gather or children to play. And a sunlit, grand view of the property and waterfront is enjoyable from the floor to ceiling expanse of windows.
A surprisingly generous galley style kitchen is furnished with an abundance of cabinet and storage space, and all the appliances needed to work your culinary magic.
When you want to take a break from all the chopping, dicing and creating, just step onto the outside deck through the walkout and my beautiful garden, firepit. bbq, lounge chairs etc.. No one will be the wiser. Winterized cottage on Pine Lake with contracted snow removal and municipal road which is plowed. Snowshoe, tobagon on property skate trails at Cranberry Farm just 20 minutes away or in town 7 minutes away. Cross country 3 minute walk. Furnace and wood stove for warmth.
What makes this property unique
Municipal road with snowplowing. Sandy beach entrance to calm lake and shallow entrance and dock. Dock/deck, fireplace in living room, tables, outdoor fire pit, summer-Umbrella table with chairs on deck, summer-lots of chaise lounges and chairs, fishing, beautiful , Parking, children's sandy area to play, Water purification for all inside water taps.
