Lovely house, close to everything

Yamba is a lovely coastal town, and this cute house was well located, has what you need, and it allowed the family, and our dog, to enjoy Yamba to its fullest.

So well positioned to all the places in town, the home was very clean and tidy with everything you need, lounge and bedroom comfortable, nice yard for your pet.

Yamba break

Had a nice enjoyable stay in a beautiful location . House was comfortable in a quiet ( but steep ) street . Main beach very handy as was said me great cafes and restaurants. Yamba full of friendly people and the dog and cat had some lovely early morning walks along the headland and river . Thoroughly recommend this place to refresh batteries before a busy year .

Alright accommodation

Accommodation was alright. Disappointed that gated part of yard is not shaded for dog. Fence could be improved to allow access to the shaded part of yard. Excellent variety of items in kitchen that allowed us to cater at home. Great beds and linen. Sooo close to town we walked to dinner two nights. If price wasn't double for January it would have been good value for money.

wouldn't stay there again

Walked into the house and it was like walking into an oven. The air conditioner was far from adequate and it made no difference to the temperature of the bedrooms. The photo of the lounge room is distorted, makes it look a lot bigger than what it is. Crockery was on a shelf in the kitchen and rattled every time anyone walked past. The outdoor setting on the verandah was lovely and it was really nice to sit out there but when it rained and was cold (which thankfully cooled the house down) and we had to eat in the kitchen we had to pull the dining table out from the wall so we could all eat together. This created a problem because of the shelf above the dining table which was head high and we had a few head knocks over the week. All in all not a pleasant place to stay

Property was clean & well equipped. Check in easy. So close to town, shops, restaurants & beaches, we didn’t use the car after we arrived. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay for a short break in Yamba

The house is in a perfect location close to town & beach. Quiet street, very happy as we could take our dog and the covered verandah is a great place to relax.

Great Place to Stay

This property is well positioned for the shops and a short (but steep) walk to the ocean front. There is off road parking and a secure verandah and yard for children/dogs. The pantry had some supplies eg instant coffee, sugar, condiments and there was a welcome pack on arrival. All the usual appliances like dishwasher, toaster, kettle, washer and dryer. Clean and tidy accommodation all round.

We loved our stay at Convent Cottage. The layout is perfect. We are 4 mature ladies and the cottage suited us perfectly. We all had our own space. Everything worked and the proximity to Yamba town centre was appreciated. Thoroughly recommended.

We always love staying here! Great place

Really awesome stay as usual. We have stayed in this house before. Everything is perfect, especiallly for the dog! My only negative feedback was the house got really hot. The aircon in the main up stairs doesn't work that well and we found it too hot. If it had a bigger unit that worked well it would have been a perfect stay. Everything else was perfect as usual. Downstairs the aircon is great and it's very comfortable. The house is perfect for bbq's on the front deck, and it's very close to everything in yamba. All the beaches, shops, cafe's, restaurants etc. 5 stars for location to everything!!!! This place rocks! Fix the upstairs aircon and it will be perfect.
