Outside, the entertaining deck provides the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, an afternoon drink or a relaxed meal while taking in the peaceful lake surrounds. With direct access to Wallaga Lake, you can head out for a paddle, kayak, swim or fish, or simply sit back and watch the ever-changing scenery across the water.

One of the special pleasures of staying at Fairhaven is the abundance of native wildlife. Wake to the sounds of local birdlife and keep an eye out for the many species that inhabit the Wallaga Lake ecosystem. The lake and surrounding wetlands support more than 60 species of birds, making this a wonderful destination for birdwatchers and nature lovers.

Kangaroos and other native wildlife may also be seen around the surrounding bushland, adding to the genuine Australian nature experience. With the lake, wetlands and native vegetation all around you, this is a place where nature is quite literally on your doorstep.

Pets are welcome outside only. The property is fully fenced to approximately 1.5m, although the gate has a gap of approximately 15cm at the bottom. Maximum of one pet unless prior written approval is obtained.

Guests are responsible for removing pet hair and waste. Additional cleaning or damage caused by pets may incur additional charges.

Not suitable for fishing groups.

No smoking inside the property.

A security bond applies and a Guest Registration Form must be completed and returned prior to arrival.
