Paws in the Mountain not only offers beauty and comfort, but a lovely, fenced yard for your dogs, a large deck and quiet place to get away and be central to all the many things’ people love about this area. The 59er Diner is a stone’s throw away, as is the beautiful Lake Wenatchee, State Park, Fish Lake, Nason Creek and so very much more. Horseback riding, we got that. Fishing, yes, we got that too. Hiking, biking, shopping, dining, or just stay back and relax.

This home offers an open floor plan incorporating dining room, kitchen with island, and living room with propane fireplace for those cold nights. Main floor has a full bath, full size washer and dryer and cozy bedroom with a queen bed.

The second floor offers a lovely loft providing a great spot for the kids, with a queen sofa sleeper, and a large bedroom with king bed, walk in closet and full bath.

Relaxing Time in Leavenworth

Great property, excellent fenced backyard for the dog, fire pit and hot tub! House was clean, well-lit from all of the windows, and great location. Don't hesitate to book!

Beautiful Home

This was a fun get away from Portland for a few days and stayed in a wonderful home. Had everything we needed. We have always wanted to see Leavenworth during the holidays so we really enjoyed ourselves!

We really enjoyed our stay at Paws in the Mountains. Exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished and comfortable, it’s an exceedingly good value. We do not have a dog, but they’re clearly very welcome here, as there are pet bowls, beds and other supplies to ensure pups feel welcome too. Especially enjoyed the hot tub and fenced back yard. Kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of good quality towels and linens. Skip the in-town prices and stay here. It’s a gem.

Bday vacation

Place was in a great location and had a great back yard for my kids and dog. The only thing that we didn’t like was the water. It smelled really bad and had to bring our own water. Other then that still deserved and 5 star

The water smell can be intermittent due to the water table and so we do always suggest guests bring water just in case that occurs during their visit. When showering it is best just to let the water run for a few minutes and it will clear that smell. Anniversary getaway

Comfortable house in great setting. Wonderful was to celebrate our 10 yr wedding anniversary. The only downside was mosquitos prohibited us from using the hot tub and outdoor fire place. This was a big negative since we booked the house anticipating the use of the hot tub. I strongly recommend adding a net around the hot tub enclosure for future guests. Overall the experience was great. The house is very comfortable, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful setting.

We were celebrating our babymoon so we were looking for relaxing and peaceful and that’s what we got. The house is really well maintained and clean! We had a small issue with the fireplace and they sent someone within the hour to fix it, I couldn’t believe it. That is top notch customer service! The kitchen was also well stocked so we could cook there but the drive into town was not bad at all, a quick scenic drive. We will definitely be coming back to this cabin!

The cabin was very clean - especially given it is a dog-friendly cabin. Kitchen was well equipped - enough to make a Thanksgiving dinner! I had an issue the fire place (operator error) and the property manager got back to me right away - on Thanksgiving! Loved our stay!

This property is amazing!

There was something for everyone to enjoy during our stay here. The kids played games, watched some tv, and played in the yard. We love being able to have the option to cook if we want to. We used our time here to cook thanksgiving dinner to bring with us on our next adventure. It is always appreciated to find a place that accepts pets as we have a dog with special needs that requires multiple medications throughout the day. Fabulous place for families!

Decided we were going to live here and never leave. Eventually realized they would probably send law enforcement to have us removed, so we went ahead and checked out. Everything was awesome! Our Boston Terriers loved it also! Would gladly return.

Great winter getaway!

Clean open concept rental. Well cared for and all the things you’d need for a family getaway. Covered hot tub was a family favorite! And very easy access from the cabin to Steven’s, Leavenworth, and Lake Wenatchee. Would definitely stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I chose this cabin for it's hot tub and the fact that it is dog friendly. I hadn't even realize how dog friendly it was when I booked it. Very cute dog themed decor throughout and sweet little touches like providing dog beds and bowls. I was also surprised to find it decorated for Christmas, complete with tree, which was so magical. Directions provided were great, and having a code to get in instead of needing to pick up a key was extremely convenient. The backyard was beautiful and backed up to a treed area. We wanted to visit Leavenworth for the snow and natural scenery, but if we were more interested in the town, this probably would not be the best option. The only negatives I could see would be in the master bedroom... The window in the bathroom looked like it had curtains at one point, but no longer did, so getting out of the shower with the window right there was a little uncomfortable and the master bedroom had a noticable dog smell that was not present in the rest of the house, but we're dog people and it wasn't a problem for us.

An escape from our current reality for a few days.

This place was amazing! I took my freshman there for a mental health break from our current world. The only downside to the place is the internet didn’t support her online school. I appreciated the property manager Jessica trying to help us go to solution on that problem. Although it didn’t work, we are grateful for the amazing place! It was nice to stay home somewhere other than our own. It’s private and cozy. Loved it so much!

Twenty minute drive to Leavenworth, two places to eat within walking distance, and a gas station nearby. The one and only issue we had was the smell of the well water. Smelled like rotten eggs. My wife said the water was good for her skin.??I recommend buying bottled water.

The home was very clean and kitchen was supplied with everything you would ever need. The home is close to hwy 2 and you did get some road noise through the trees, but sitting in the hot tub muffled the sound! Directions were a bit off - we drove around a little to find the place. Overall, I would definitely recommend this rental. Four miles from Wenatchee State Park and beautiful hiking trails :)

Plenty of space and conveniently fenced in backyard for the dogs to run around in without getting into too much mischief. Would be nice if the area under the porch was screened/latticed off, since we have a trash loving dog who naturally enjoyed disappearing under there and proudly trotting out with random trash in his mouth. Very cozy, lots of dog amenities (e.g. extra crates, dog blankets, etc). Convenient access to Lake Wenatchee and surrounding trails. Minor road noise from highway, but nothing bothersome. Not a ton of cooking supplies when we were there, so make sure you bring everything you need if you plan on making your own meals (e.g. tin foil, cooking oil).

My only issue was I think they should provide citronella candles for the back, the mosquitos are terrible. So make sure to bring repellant spray and the water has a funny taste/smell due to bring a septic system which is normal I just suggest bringing bottled water! Regardless of those couple things we had a great time, it was peaceful and relaxing! Thanks!
