Enjoy the peace and serenity of the mountains in Plain, just a 2 hour drive from Seattle, 30 minute drive from Leavenworth, 30 minute drive to Steven's Pass, and 5 miles from Lake Wenatchee.

Abhainn River Fort has an open and spacious floor plan with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, hot tub, propane fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, vaulted ceilings with a living area great for entertaining, BBQ, full washer and dryer, WIFI, foosball, arcades games, and back patio with gorgeous river views of the Chiwawa River. Enjoy the open living concept with floor to ceiling windows and beautiful views from both levels of the River. Outdoor activities abound include snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hiking trails, biking, and wine tasting, Sorry NO Smoking or PETS! Unfortunately there is not any access to the river with high river banks.
This cabin has exterior cameras or video surveillance at the entrances. Cameras may be used to enforce and verify the compliance of the rental policies.

This home was the most tastefully decorated home we have yet to stay in and we average 3-4 per year. It was very clean and the property manager was incredible with work with. She replaced a few unusable items in the kitchen so fast we couldn’t have been more happy!! The space was just enough for the five of us to enjoy a wonderful winter getaway!

Great property. We used it as a base to explore the Cascade Loop. Short drive to Leavenworth which is a small German themed town with lots of restaurants and a large grocery store. Great view of the river from the back yard. We enjoyed sitting out in the mornings and evenings and listening to the water flow down the river.

Fantastic place -- comfortable, cozy, and welcoming. Seven of us (4 adults and 3 kids) stayed here and had plenty of space. Our kids kept asking if we could please buy the cabin and move in! Will definitely be back.

Absolutely cute inside and out

Probably the cutest decor we’ve seen in a cabin. Tall Christmas tree, lots of moose themed decor, forest lodge theme. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was well supplied for tools and pans. The host was very helpful. The river view was nice. We hope to come back in summer too.

Wonderful Getaway

The cabin was everything anyone would want - the decor was adorable and the views are fantastic. It was the perfect getaway, quiet, peaceful and so relaxing!! Wish we could have figured out the fireplace but everything else was perfect and the cabin is very well supplied. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of heaven.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great location, beautiful views of the river. Everything required for a perfect weekend getaway. Bonus points: One of the most well-stocked VRBO Kitchens I've ever encountered. No need to bring your random favorite appliance or your own knives here. Much appreciated.

Great cabin in pretty area

The cabin had plenty of room for 5 adults. Itvwas wwll equiped and was clean. All if the beds were comfortable. The deck and hit tub were very nice. The only thing we found missing was deck furniture. There were 3 folding camp chairs but we would have liked more comfortable chairs and maybe a table.

Cozy and peaceful home base perfect for exploring the Leavenworth area

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. We appreciated all of the Christmas decorations to make the cabin even more special during this time of year. The entire cabin was well stocked, and we were able to enjoy several meals at the cabin. For example, there was even a coffee grinder for coffee beans! The floorplan/layout of the cabin worked out well. Property manager was very responsive, and timely helped with every request. The cabin location being about 40 minutes outside of Leavenworth in Plain, WA was ideal. Yes, you do need to drive a bit to get into Leavenworth, but the drive was not bad at all and we much preferred being in a peaceful setting outside of Leavenworth. We visited Leavenworth three times, and it's actually quite hectic with the traffic and business of the town. Staying outside of Leavenworth was really great, especially with this cabin being very close to Lake Wanatchee, which has its own natural beauty to explore. One issue with the cabin is the hot water supply. The hot water did not seem to last as long as it should have for the size water heater tank, but we were able to make it work. The property manager did make an adjustment that seemed to improve the hot water situation.There is a spa, but the owner requests you to shower before each spa use, which is inconvenient since there is no shower near the spa. The spa is great and has a beautiful view though.

Great Weekend Stay

A great place to stay. The property is clean and well equipped, the kitchen had everything you could need for a feast or for a salad. It's decorated with "cute cabin", and it was fitting for the style of the property. Very quiet location, and nice to hear the river from the deck. Definitely would stay again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Loved our stay! Clean and cute decor, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and peaceful river view for sitting in the hot tub after a long hike. We were really worried about triple digit temperatures outside but Cassie advised to keep the windows and blinds shut during the day and open them up night, and with the fans in every room we’d still be comfortable: she was right! (And communication with Cassie was quick and easy!) Would absolutely stay again.

Excellent winter weekend with friends

This was the perfect cabin to share with friends and our kids. The pictures don’t do this place justice! It is large, comfortable, super clean, and has everything you need. Layout was great for two families with kids sharing a room. It was so nice to have a separate bathroom in each bedroom. The bunk room was fun for the kids and is perfect for movie nights with its own smart TV. Kitchen was well stocked, hot tub and setting was beautiful, location in Plain was excellent and centrally located for both visiting Leavenworth and skiing at Steven’s Pass. Toys, books, games made it fun for the kids. Thanks for a great stay! We’ll definitely be back!

We are coming back!

Beautiful and comfortable property! We got super lucky with the snow the entire trip and will definitely be coming back. Even the teenagers asked to make this a regular spot to visit!
