Stay away from this house, but do book with Big Bear Vacations a different one.
Luckily this house is managed by big bear vacations which was extremely helpful in moving us to a different home. This “fox farm” was disgusting. It stinks so much your eyes burn and hasn’t been cleaned in years! The cobwebs are everywhere. I complained and luckily big bear vacations who manage plenty of properties were able to move us into a different location which was amazing. This place however is a definite NO!
It has all the potential, but none of the minimum effort required to make your stay here pleasant.

Thank you so much for sharing your review with us and again we are deeply sorry to hear that our home was not up to par for your visit. Our team has implemented new processes to ensure this never happens again. Please know that this was not our standard nor the experience that we wish for our guests. We truly hope to have the opportunity to host you again for a much better visit.
Had a great time at this home. Property was very clean and the place looked great and also extremely comfortable. It’s located near the village and stores so driving for groceries is only 5 min away. Super quite and friendly neighborhood. Overall greatly satisfied and will be returning again!

So happy to hear that your group was "Living the Dream" here with us Luis! We are all looking forward to having you back again soon!!
We rented this property over a snowy and cold weekend in big bear.
Pros: nice neighborhood and good location near town and resorts. Some hills around the house for sledding for the kids when there’s snow. Nice wood burning fireplace and jacuzzi on the patio.
Cons: the home is in need of a deep clean, paint and some updating given the price and total fees charged. This would be less of a con if the price was lower, but they’re charging a premium price (and resort fee..) for a less than luxury experience. Also note about 1/3rd of the house is blocked off. Description of space/bedrooms was overall accurate, but I doubt the represented square footage is. Dining table was dirty and smudged on arrival. We wiped common surfaces with Lysol wipes and picked up dirt and black marks. Blinds were dirty. Furniture is basic and dated. Living room couch has seen much better days. Large Cobwebs on chandelier and in corners of the living space. BBQ didn’t work. Heater was auto set to max out at 58(!) at night when the lows were in the teens. We couldn’t override it and had a very cold night. Bring firewood.
Overall we made the most of the stay and enjoyed the snow but will look elsewhere next time.

Thank you for sharing your review with us George. We have utilized your feedback as well as undergone a full walkthru of the cabin and made improvements. We sincerely hope to host you again for a much better visit!
I never leave reviews, but the cabin looks nothing like the pictures. Waste of money. So dirty and worst customer service. I will make sure I get my money back.

The place was very cozy. I enjoyed my stay. Very spacious. However, The jet and the light of the tub were not working. Bummer. But nonetheless, we had an awesome stay.
