Located 3 blocks to the town's white sandy beach and 4 blocks to downtown, this thoughtfully restored vacation home sits diagonally across from the 5 acre town park with a walking trail and a children's playground..
The home is on the Historic Register of Cape Charles and offers 3 bedrooms and a SURPRISE hidden bedroom the kids will love. 2 full baths, one on each level.
An inviting open front porch and a back deck for outdoor dining is part of the this home's charm.
The kitchen has all the necessities you need to make family meals if you choose and there is an opening to the living and dining rooms so no one feels closed off.
The bedrooms are on the second floor and all quite spacious. Sleeping 8 to 10 with a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the Living Room.
A spacious living room and dining room will fit eight comfortably.
Bed linens and bath towels are provided, along with a starter pack of essentials including toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent to help you settle in comfortably.

Vibing in Cape Charles

Very relaxing 2nd visit to Cape Charles and Good Vibes. The house is very comfortable. The location is just a short walk to the beach and a short walk to town. Looking forward to coming back next summer!

Such a welcoming place!

Good Vibes was the perfect spot for a couples get away. The house is in a great location and is charmingly decorated. We were able to walk to the beach and downtown to restaurants and shops. Cape Charles never disappoints. Thanks to the owners for sharing your precious house.

Long weekend stay for Spring Break

First time in Cape Charles for Spring Break. The house was in a perfect location. Three blocks from the beach, three blocks from town and one block from a large park. We had two families including 4 kids under the age of 10. Just the right amount of space for us. Great yard for kids to play.

Good Vibes! Chill Vibes!

Good Vibes! We love this house. It is comfortable to just hang out in for morning coffee, reading a book, watching movies and resting in comfortable beds. A great convenience to have the outdoor shower after a lovely day at the beach. Good Vibes has a great location. You can walk to the beach or town in 5 minutes. Thank you again for an enjoyable stay.

Great house

Our group of 5 enjoyed a great weekend in Cape Charles. We were able to get into the house a little early - we appreciated this! It was extremely clean - priority for us. The beds were comfy and there was adequate seating in the family room. The location was great - a few blocks to the water and a few blocks to Mason St. Huge yard - we didn't really use. We would definitely recommend this property!

New Years!

Overall this was a great cottage! There are a few things I would change. The washing machine was not working and that was quite a hassle for our family. The center bed was the squeakiest bed ever so if you were on the other side of the wall it was very disturbing! The location was perfect and our kids had a blast!

Can’t Wait to Come Back!

Absolutely nothing but Good Vibes at Good Vibes. The location was perfect, right next to the park/splash fountain, easy walk to the beach (even carrying stuff and toddlers!), and close to downtown. The outdoor shower was so great most of us took all our showers out there - temperature and water pressure were amazing. We rented a golf cart and needed an extension cord to charge it. A quick phone call to the property manager and she brought us two. If you’re thinking about coming to Cape Charles, stop thinking and just do it!

Perfect house, perfect location

We loved everything about this house! The location can't be beat -- we parked our car and didn't move it until we left because we walked everywhere -- as it's a few blocks to the beach and a few blocks to town. We can't wait to come back with our family again soon! Thank you for a fabulous experience in Cape Charles!

Great family spot, close to everything

We had a great time and would stay again at Good Vibes. The location is great- especially because we brought bikes to get around to and from the beach. The beds are comfortable and the outdoor shower made cleaning up after the beach super easy. There is a hose hookup in the outdoor shower stall, and a hose would have been helpful to clean our stuff before loading it into the car to go home. If you’re less annoyed by sandy gear, this won’t be an issue for you. There are some toys inside for the kids to play with, but as a note there are no beach towels or other beach gear, so bring your own and/or borrow from a friend like we did. The washer/dryer was great and allowed us to return home with no dirty laundry! The house was clean, and there are plenty of bath towels. Looking forward to next year’s stay!

Perfect Location

Good Vibes was very clean and had a great location. We loved being a short walk into town and to the beach. The sunsets were amazing! Property management was quick and helpful when we had issues. Be careful when using the sink or shower, the water gets really hot.

Perfect Long Weekend Getaway

Another great family trip to Cape Charles

Staying here for the 2nd time, this place was perfect for our growing family, this time with the addition of twin babies. Our kids (3,5) love the back hideaway room, and the outdoor shower made it quick and easy to get everyone washed up after a sandy day at the beach. The location is perfect as its across the street from the park, and just a few blocks to the beach and the main street with ice cream and other shops. There was plenty of towels & linens for everyone, lots of great games. We even left another set of sand toys for any other future families visiting.

Wonderful family spring break!

This was our second stay at Good Vibes and had a great time. It offers everything you need for a large family to spread out and to spend time together. The power went out in the town one evening and there was a flashlight and candles, but we couldn't find a lighter or matches, just FYI.

Nice but chilly

It’s a nice old home. Unfortunately it was 45 degrees inside when we arrived. It did warm up once we got the heat going. Clean and well maintained with historic character.

Perfect location.

This was a very comfortable house located across from a wonderful park where the children loved playing. The beach was 2 blocks away and downtown was close enough to walk. We loved our stay in Cape Charles.
