Quiet location within walking distance of small village

Our experience overall was good. We like oldy worldy type properties and this was typical of what we required. Only negative for us was no BBQ. We are used to renting and this is a requirement that meets our needs. However this did not upset our holiday or experience. Overall this property was what we requested and we had a great experience.

Pas le paradis annoncé

Points positifs : les extérieurs sont très spacieux et la vue est dégagée, calme absolu. Le lit de la chambre du Rez de chaussée est confortable. WiFi OK Points négatifs : Manque flagrant d’entretien. En extérieur : les massifs ne sont pas taillés, les 3 bacs en bois sont à l’abandon, la terrasse est sale. Pas de relax, ni transat pour profiter du jardin. A l’intérieur : très forte odeur d’humidité, même en aérant, surtout dans la pièce de vie. Traces d’humidité sur le mur du fond. Une impression d’abandon et de laissé aller et aussi un manque de propreté ( signalé au propriétaire dès notre arrivée)qui nous a proposé un autre nettoyage mais vu l’ampleur de la tâche nous avons dit qu’on laissait en l’état. Les surfaces sont soit poussiéreuses, soit recouvertes d’une pellicule grasse. Le four est sale, le dessus de la cuisinière n’a plus été nettoyée à fond depuis longtemps. Présence de moisissures dans la porte du lave vaisselle et dans le frigo. Il restait des glaces Magnum dans le congélateur. La location de cette maison est élevée en cette saison et le nettoyage aussi est cher. A ce prix là on s’attend à des prestations de qualité. D’accord c’est une vieille maison mais la remise en état est faite à l’économie ( exemple: l’électricité), et l’ameublement de bric et de broc. Rien d’agréable et de confortable, ni moderne. Nous avions payé 4 nuits mais nous sommes partis ailleurs un jour plus tôt, nous avons l’habitude des locations et c’est de loin depuis longtemps la plus grande déception. Communication correcte avec le propriétaire qui vit en Australie et à confié la gérance à quelqu’un de la région qui ne donne aucune nouvelle malgré sms et mail. La « gouvernante » est , sans doute libre de nettoyer comme elle l’entend et ne fait pas zèle.

Schöne Tage in Les Lauriers bei Sainte-Alvère

Das haus liegt ganz toll inmitten der wunderschönen Landschaft. Wir konnten uns in absoluter Ruhe ganz toll erholen. Auch der Pool war größer als erwartet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war hervorragend. Renate und Günther
