A private, new, luxurious ground floor apartment

Northfield s Garden View suite was designed with Melbourne s boutique hotels in mind. Our apartment is fresh and current while maintaining its country charm. Indulge yourself with the remarkable king-sized bed, the enormous lounge, and the ensuite with its freestanding bath and walk in shower. Walk to the train station, and to the pubs, cafes & shops in Woodend village. We re close to Hanging Rock, Mt. Macedon, Memorial Cross and Wombat State Forest, so bring your bike or hiking boots!
Northfield Garden View is the perfect location for a snowy adventure in winter or a unique weekend away in summer. Amenities include a purpose built computer bench, a little library of books to borrow, a large comfy couch and kitchen facilities. The bedroom is luxurious, with a huge king sized bed and a spectacular ensuite, complete with rainfall shower head and freestanding bath. All towels, linen, and basic toiletries are included, as well as kitchen essentials (pots, pans, utensils, tea, coffee, and condiments for cooking) and WIFI. There is Netflix on the TV, too.
Make the most of your time in the Macedon Ranges by getting outdoors. Enjoy access to the seasonal vegetable patch, front garden and nearby walking/hiking trails. Macedon and Wombat State forests are within easy driving distance, as are Mt. Macedon, Memorial Cross, Trentham Falls and Hanging Rock. There is plenty of parking on site, and covered storage for bikes.
Woodend is in the heart of the majestic Macedon Ranges. We re known for our amazing cafes and Holgates Brew House - an award winning craft brewery within walking distance of Northfield. We re directly across the road from a rail trail walking track popular with the locals; and a short drive to Wombat and Macedon State forests for bush walking, trail running and mountain biking.
Northfield is only 500m from the Woodend Railway Station (the Vline train will get you to the middle of Melbourne in just over an hour), and has a Flexiride stop just up the road (at the intersection of Quarry Rd. and Reidwell Cres.).

Delightful!

Had a wonderful and relaxing time! The property is well equiped (stove top takes a bit of time though) and the couch is a wonderful place to read a book! The bed is comfy, and sitting out the front having coffee is a delight!

The property was advertised as private. It was not private or quiet at all. The family went on with their lives as if we weren't there. Lawn mowers, children with bikes, property maintenance etc. very disappointing.

Northfield in Woodend. Very relaxing

We stayed for two nights, as we were in the area for a family celebration. Jen the host at Northfield was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Jen who lives on the property in her own residence, greeted us by chance, but it is a self check in, and she told us if we needed any assistance to just ring her. The accomodation and amenities are top class, the king bed very comfortable, and had a good feel about it. It is walkable to the Woodend shops, but due to extreme heat conditions we chose to drive, which was only a five minute drive. Woodend has plenty of places to eat, if you don’t want to cook at the apartment. There is a supermarket if you need to pick up supplies. The apartment is self contained, and very private. We would certainly return if we are back visiting Woodend.
