Explorers Paradise~Walk to Capitol!

Summary:
Relax in splendor while the city is right outside your door! Walk to the Capitol and return to luxury when you stay at our home sweet haven! Easy access to public transportation!

A parking pass is available and must be requested in advance, simply sign up, request, and print (BEFORE you travel)!

Accessible to families with babies.
We are very family friendly and are happy to offer an umbrella stroller, infant carseat, high chair and bassinet for use during your stay. Available upon request, please send us a note!

The Space:
The property is equipped with full kitchen, internet access, home essentials, and a gorgeous shared patio!

We can accommodate up to 6 guests in the queen sized bed in the primary bedroom, and two full sized beds in the second bedroom. Lastly, there is a brand new queen sized sofa bed in the living room (perfect for 2 guests). Come, stay, and relax in our Home Sweet City!

~ While we can’t guarantee parking, some guests have had luck getting temporary permits from neighboring police stations. Guests would need to bring their trip itinerary with their full name, dates of stay, and street address of the residence.
This is at the discretion of the police stations however, and cannot be guaranteed.
We also provide excellent resources and coupon codes for finding nearby garages at the cheapest rates.

Guest Access:
The entire home is available to you, it is not shared.

There is a family living upstairs. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life (footsteps, stairs, kids playing, etc.) can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the gorgeous and historic Capitol Hill neighborhood, you will have easy access to the major sites from the home!

Getting Around:
You are ten minutes from Union Station - DC’s hub of activity!
