About the host
Hosted by Neil & Dee
Set amongst the historical landscape of Gibbston Valley and the Crown Range Judge and Jury Farm is located at the gateway to the valley of vines. With landmarks such as the iconic Judge and Jury rocks, the historic Kawarau Bridge and Chard Farm we are surrounded by a depth of Central Otago history. The Queenstown Trail network runs right past the front door, connecting you to the Gibbston Valley and Two Rivers trails, giving endless options to enjoy the splendour the region produces. When staying at Judge and Jury Farm Retreat you’ll have the tranquility and privacy of your accommodation, with a whole farm to explore.
Why they chose this property
Getting back to nature is important for our souls, to recharge the battery and be at one with the beautiful landscape Central Otago offers. Chris and Ali search the market for five year looking for that perfect location that would allow guests to enjoy the land, have privacy within their own accommodation, while being excusable to the multitude of attractions Gibbston Valley, Arrowtown and the wider Southern Lakes have to offer. The farm is located on 130 aches of predominately hilling terrain, where we currently farm Wiltshire sheep. Our goal over the coming years is to create a self sufficient property where you can enjoy the fresh natural produce grown here on the farm. And with the rich history known across the region, Judge and Jury farm will take you on a journey across the property, with a number of historic landmarks for you to discover, while being surrounds by breathtaking scenery, from Coronet Peak, Ben Lomond, Cone Peak and the Nevis Bluff. Our goal is to create a property that offers you, your family and friends truly unique experience.
What makes this property unique
