A luxurious getaway

There are so many positives about this property, it would be impossible to name them all. There are ample sleeping arrangements and generous living areas for groups to hang out. This is coupled by a table tennis table, multiple TVs, Sonos music system, Foxtel, Netflix… the list is endless. The kitchen is amply equipped and there is a generous supply of condiments. Thank you for letting us stay. We would love to return one day.

A superb getaway

Brilliant design, great living spaces, generously stocked, breathtaking lighthouse views and right next to the beach. Could not fault it as a place to get away with our extended family.

SIMPLY BRILLIANT.

Only two words need to describe this place. We stayed for the long weekend and didnt want to leave come Monday. Not only is the Eagle point brilliant from a design perspective but it has the most amazing zen energy that cant be brought or planned. The home is large enough for multiple families or groups and works perfectly for guests to be in different zones and not feel on top of each other (in our case kids downstairs and us by the fire upstairs!). It is a very well thought out space with bedrooms and bathrooms arranged so no one feels awkward. The back entertainment zone is genius- the pool, deck and views take you straight into holiday mode and you can easily get lost in contemplation with a vino and nature. Alternatively the space would be a cracking outdoor entertainment space- cant wait to come back in summer! The backyard is big enough to play frisbee , kick a ball etc, and works brilliantly as you can be by the pool and still keep an eye on kids. Waking up and living with water and direct lighthouse views, walking across the road to direct access to cliff top walking paths and being in the middle of everything but feeling completely private is rare and definitely something that will bring us back to this amazing property. For groups, multiple families, celebratory gatherings or even just flying solo, this place is magical.

Stunning home, brilliant location and plenty of room for all - made for a perfect 60th birthday celebration with my extended family in August. This house is beautifully appointed, and equipped with everything you could need for an amazing escape to the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. The cliff top walking track is right on the doorstep. Aireys Pub, A la Grecque restaurant, cafes and a General Store stocked with gourmet goodies are just down the road. The view is beautiful whatever the weather. Thanks to Marilyn at Great Ocean Road Real Estate/Holidays for making the booking experience so easy, and thanks to owner Marie and family for the generous welcome gesture and for allowing our family to create some very special memories in your beautiful home. Would love to come back in summer to use that inviting pool and generous outdoor spaces.
