The Cliff House, located within the quiet seaside village of Potato Point on the NSW South Coast is the perfect place for a family or couple to unwind. Two unspoilt beaches within 3-5 minutes walk from the house are perfect for a daytime splash, an evening walk and great fishing.

Mesmerising ocean views are seen from almost every room in the house. Fall asleep to the soothing sound of the waves. Relax on one of 2 huge sunny decks, with expansive views northeast over the Pacific Ocean and northwards along coastal beaches. Choose a book from the extensive library, pour a glass of wine and watch the whale migration along the east coast.

There is an abundance of wildlife roaming through Potato Point - get up close to kangaroos, wallabies and emus along with many varieties of bird life. Take a short car ride to neighbouring Narooma and watch the resident seal colony sunning themselves on rocks at the breakwater.

The Cliff House is an original beach house that has evolved into a comfortable, modern holiday home.

This house is in a beautiful position beside the national park and two beaches. It also has a spectacular ocean view. The house is extremely comfortable and has everything you need for a seaside getaway. This was our third stay at this particular house - this time we had the privilege of watching whales migrating south while relaxing on the deck. Wonderful!

Great location for a Christmas family getaway

A lovely peaceful and scenic location, with plenty of wildlife. The house was everything we needed to enjoy Christmas with our family of 5... the grandparents were able to drop by for a couple of nights too. We were able to order a food delivery ahead of time on suggestion of our hosts, who were quick to respond to emails and queries.

Fabulous spot

We spent a wonderful week in this beautifully situated house that accommodated 6 adults and two children very comfortably. The house (and kitchen) is well equipped and is a short walk to two stunning beaches. The sea view from the deck and upstairs living areas is amazing. A perfect summer getaway. We would stay there again.

Perfect Family Holiday

Potato Point and Clifftop Beach House was the perfect holiday for our family. The house had everything we needed, was clean and exceeded our expectations in all ways. Fabulous place to stay

We recently had our second stay at Clifftop Beach House which has the most amazing view. We (eight of us) extended our stay this time and spent 10 nights in this very comfortable and well equipped two bathroom home. So easy to arrive, unpack your things, and you’re set to enjoy the wonderful beaches within walking distance, scenery and wildlife. The house provides everything you could possibly want. The beds and furniture are comfortable, there is good quality bedding and towels, and a very well equipped kitchen. We would stay there again.

A fabulous retreat!

Cliff House is such a special place. We love Potato Point anyway, but this house adds a little more magic to this already magical spot. The hosts have thought of everything to make you feel at home, super comfy beds, plenty of kitchen equipment, quality plates etc. The house has lovely fenced gardens front and back and a two enormous decks so you can choose sun or shade. But the best thing of all is the view- you feel like you could spread your wings on the balcony (like the huge sea eagles that often float high above) and just fly out into the infinite expanse of ocean. Truly magical. Can’t wait to go back! Many thanks to Deb and Trevor for sharing their slice of paradise :)

Amazing location and comfortable house!

The house is perfectly located, with the main living area and main bedroom looking out over the ocean. Fantastic to lie in bed and watch the sea! This makes it a great option for a winter getaway too, when it is whale season. The house is set between two beaches and is an easy stroll to both. Whilst there are no shops at Potato Point, the village of Bodalla is 8km away and is really cute. We loved our stay and the owners were very kind and helpful!

Wonderful location , mesmerising views

Thank you Trevor and Deborah for such a wonderful home to have a holiday . Every communication went smoothly from beginning to end . The house was more than I had expected , with a magnificent view from the en-suite through the bedroom that opened up to the huge deck . The generous welcome gift was wonderful as we sat out on the deck with cheese crackers and wine , enchanted by the view. We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of the home. There’s only a short walk to the beach which was very relaxing and fun , even for a 3 year old . The house is well set up for adults , teenagers and children , where they can have their own space . Toys for toddlers , and games for adults, beach umbrella, and an extensive book and DVD library , was an added bonus . Oh , and the wild life was a special treat , sea- eagles flying above , kangaroos playing around the perimeters of the property and I’m sure we saw some dolphins in the sea below . We would definitely love to come back , thankyou again for sending me my belongings that I left there .

It’s all about THE VIEW.

Description and the photos about the property is 100% accurate. There was everything in the property. Even salt, pepper or oil. Interior design of the property was simple but elegant. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Got all the information on time. My advice to the future guests, just pack your clothes with few foods for the first day and go there. Next day visit Narooma and do your shopping from the supermarkets. Oh! I forgot to mention about the welcome gifts from the owner. There was cheese, crackers, other snakes, milk, cold water, milk and bottle of wine. After 4 hours journey, that welcome gift helped us to get refreshed before opening our own food bags. Everyday morning and evening kangaroos came to visit us. Neighbors are very good and friendly. I will come again. ——— Mohammad Rashid
