The cabin was just as described! The cabin was very nice and clean and decorated for Christmas which was nice. However when we arrived the inspector was there and the couch was EVERYWHERE! The pullout sofa was broken and he stated maintenance would be out. That never happened.
This was how the inspector left the sofa. The only seating was a chair and barstools.

I am so sorry this happened. As the owner, I was not made aware of the couch issue until after you checked out. Next time, please let the owner know of any problems. It is my understanding the couch was working just the frame was bent from the guest who checked out that morning. Unfortunately, our handyman tried to fix it and was unable to. Due to it being a weekend, the furniture repairman was unable to fix it until Monday. Thankfully, the foldout still worked for your stay. The couch is repaired now.

We absolutely loved our time here. It was a great location to all the adventures in the Great Smokey Mountains we went on. It had everything we needed and was clean and cozy. Our kids could have just stayed in the pool the week we were there and would have still had the best time. We had several sightings and encounters with bears around the cabin. Definitely a vacation we will always remember.

Great location to visit National Park and surrounding area. Great place to come back to after a day of exploring and relax.Left with a great story. When getting ready to leave, we realized a bear had opened one of the car doors and checked out the front seat of the car. No damage and no food lost since there was none in the car. The only thing that would have made the story better is if we would have caught it in the act!

We absolutely loved our stay in Brother Bear Cabin! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, so clean and well decorated. The kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. The owner was so kind and so quick to respond to any questions we had. We will most definitely stay here again! Cannot say enough good things about it!
