Affordable Large Properties will cancel the reservation if you are under the age of 25 and or a local.

All cancellations incur a $150 Cancellation Fee, the Security Deposit Waiver, and the Booking Fee

Plenty Of Room

Just perfect for a golf trip. We received a discount for golfing at the Jones and Byrd course, because we rented at Sea Trail. The rooms were huge, and the screened in porch area was great for a cup of coffee in the morning. Every room had a bathroom, and one room even had a kitchenette.

SUNSET

Really love the layout of the condo and the area. When we arrived the place was not cleaned, floors not vacuumed, spider webs everywhere and we had to buy bug spray to kill bugs and spiders. Went to the poo on Sunday, and upon coming back, a staff member was at our door putting in a code to come in, claiming to be looking for her vacuum cleaner. We checked in on Thursday, so why are you looking for a vacuum on Sunday? Suspect to me. We drove up at the right time.

Finally got away

After being cooped up since March 5 we were very excited to get to Sunset Beach on the very day that short term rentals would be allowed. We made this reservation back in February before everyone's life was turned upside down. A week before arrival I contacted the management company to see if we could get in early. They said that it would not be a problem considering no one had stayed there since before the pandemic. I called and received an alternate code to get in at 1:30pm. We arrived at 1:45pm and the code did not work. After calling the management company (Affordable Large Properties) and Sea Trails for over an hour we just sat outside and waited. Thankfully, they do not check the locks too well. At around 3pm I found the back door was open so we moved our things in for the weekend. I did get ahold of the management company and they said they would call be right back with a code. Never happened. At 5:45pm a maintenance man knocked on the door and gave a code. Terrible customer service!!! Condo and location are great.

Pimento bugs & dirty!

The property had an infestation of pimento bugs aka American cockroaches and small brown cockroaches and it didn’t look like the floors were vacuumed before our arrival. We went to the front desk and reported the bugs and asked for the head housekeeper to contact us but we never received a call and the receptionist acted like it was not a big deal. We tried to find a hotel room as the kids were really upset about the bugs. There was also an issue with one of the external doors not fully locking which caused concern when we would leave the house.

Overall great experience

This was a great property and location all but one thing. Kitchen was not fully Supplied. There were no pot holders at all. There was only a 6 in and 8 in frying pan. When you have a place thats for 16 people, we only had ten but you can not effiently cook with that. The rest of the pots were very old. This is an easy fix for $100 also they only provided 1 dish towel. Overall a great experience. Just upgrade kitchen.

Like a second home.

The check in was quick and the place was clean and very cool for a hot day. You get a good view of lake and golf course from the patio. Very quiet area. The housing came with a lot of basic stuff I didn't think I would need like pots and pans. It's very close to the beach maybe 3 minute drive if that.

We love Sunset Beach and Sea Trail

We usually stay at Sea Trail, but this was our first time staying in this particular unit. It was difficult to find a place that had adequate appropriate sleeping arrangements for two adult couples, two single, young adults, and two teenage girls. Ultimately, we chose this unit based on those needs, and for that, it was just right. It was clean, but we did have a few cockroaches throughout the week and the garbage bin outside had not been emptied from the previous occupants. The furnishings were comfortable, but the kitchen was lacking in some basics. Pot holders and/or oven mitts, as well as extra kitchen towels would have been greatly appreciated. A blender, although certainly not a necessity, would have been a welcomed addition. The kitchen itself was, in our opinions, in desperate need of updating. There was a hole burned onto the laminate countertop and a piece of the laminate trim on the corner of the countertop was pulled completely loose and taped into place. The kitchen,likely, had never been updated from its original state at the time of being built. Overall, the space was comfortable and adequate. It was the location and the company that made this trip wonderful and memorable. We did appreciate that the Activity Center admission was included in the rent. This was something we have paid out of pocket upon arrival on previous stays in other units.

Great location!

Overall we were satisfied with our stay at the 11B Villa at Sea Trail Resort. The location is excellent, only a 5 minute drive to the beach, as well as very close to Bill's seafood - a family favorite, and Ocean Isle and Calabash. We were a group of 7 - four generations - and the space was a great fit for all of us. The property management was very receptive when we reached out to them, and responded promptly. The pool area was nice as well, and the food at the pool bar was great. There were a few issues, however - the trash from the previous tenants was overflowing from the bin in front of the unit when we arrived, and when I reached out to report it, I was told that they only collected trash on Wednesdays and that they assumed it was our trash; this made no sense since we had just arrived. At our request, they did send someone to remove it fairly quickly. Also, the upholstery on one of the couches was coming away and there were a few exposed staples that caused several scratches; management acknowledged my message when I reported it, but it was not fixed during our stay - I will note that the previous tenants also mentioned the upholstery and the trash pick up issues, so these are ongoing problems with the unit. A note to future tenants who plan to cook/bake in the unit - there is very limited cooking equipment, such as no baking sheets, only a small 6" saute pan, and a very limited knife selection. The unit would also benefit from dishtowels and spatulas.

family vacation at SaeTrail

the facilities was great. roomy and accommodated our needs. we were a little disappointed in the recreation area, there were very limited access to the exercise machine, most were limited to owners only use. We did not use the pools because the family wanted to go to the beach. The beach was a wonderful place not far from the condo. It seem like tape was the way to do quick repairs on the counter and also on the couch. We did kill 3 very large roaches during our stay. The back screened in porch was very nice, there was an alligator that kept sticking his head out in the morning and afternoon, this was entertaining. overall, I would recommend this condo to others as a good place for a family vacation. would have been nice if we could have done some outside grilling.

Nice condo

My family enjoyed our stay at the sea trail condo! Watching the alligator from the back porch was very entertaining and the area was relaxing! However, due to safety reasons, a sign warning guests of the alligator would be nice. Some people were unaware until we told them. Overall I was very pleased with our stay! Would recommend.
