Great Get Away
We enjoyed 4 days of our spring break here, 4 adults, 3 kids and our dogs. It was a nice, clean space with plenty of dishes and all the necessary linens for bedding and showers. The cabin is built on a slope, so it does make backing out of the driveway a little difficult if you're in a low vehicle. The neighboring dogs were interested in our dogs, but seemed friendly, and overall weren't too much of a nuisance. We didn't find a thermostat, or any way to adjust the temperature, but it seemed set up to keep us comfortable the whole time. We caught some lovely sunsets from the front decks, played cards at the picnic table with a nice campfire nearby and overall really enjoyed our stay.

Rustic and secluded
Not an easy place to find. Virtually impossible after sundown. No exterior lights were on and there was no house number near the road or any identifier. But it is a cute cabin with good use of space. Only heat is a gas fireplace that had the interior temperature at least 85-90 upon arrival. Recirculating fans quickly balanced it out but the two small bedrooms upstairs needed an open window to make it cool enough to sleep. All linens were in the downstairs bathroom closet. Had to search for kitchen towels and never found any hand towels. The washcloths were stained with makeup —a hazard when electing to use white towels and washcloths. Shower heads were unstable with connectors that were too loose to hold them in place. A small plastic cup filled with old cigarette butts was left on the table on the front porch and the trash cans on the back deck were filled to the brim. All that said, it is a very quiet, cozy and peaceful home that, with just a bit more attention to detail and amenities would be an excellent retreat destination.

Great location, clean and roomy
Property is located near all places we wanted to see and visit. Would recommend installing grab bars in bathroom, since one member of our group had a knee injury, which made it difficult to use toilets because they are very low. Or, upgrade toilets to ones that are higher.
