A Few Things to Know Before Booking
Honey’s Haus is a historic 1930s home, and some of its original characteristics remain part of its charm.
The third bedroom and second bathroom are located in the home's finished half-story. The stairs leading to this area are the original stairs from the 1930s and are steeper than modern residential stairs. Guests should be comfortable using steep stairs.
Because this is a half-story, the ceilings are lower along portions of the perimeter, and taller guests will need to pay attention to the ceiling height.
The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are accessed by walking through the glassed-in porch. The second downstairs bedroom is also accessed by the glassed-in porch.
These characteristics are important to consider when determining whether Honey’s Haus is the right fit for your group.
Your Fredericksburg Home Base
Whether you're planning a girls' getaway, romantic Hill Country weekend, family vacation, wine-country adventure or simply looking for a comfortable place to experience Fredericksburg, Honey’s Haus offers something special: historic character, modern comforts and an enviable location close to the best of town.
Enjoy your morning coffee at home, stroll into town for shopping and lunch, spend the afternoon exploring Fredericksburg or the surrounding wine country, then return to Honey’s Haus for an evening around the firepit.
At Honey’s Haus, you don't just stay in Fredericksburg—you get to experience the charm of the town from a home that is part of its history.

Such a great stay for our annual girl’s trip. Awesome location within walking distance of Main Street and restaurants. The beds were comfy and the house was stocked with all we needed! Our only complaint is that the trip was too short.
The communication was exceptional with Kerrain. The home is equipped with all the amenities of home. Being within 1 block of the museum and downtown was GREAT!. Highly recommend this property.
Quick and easy walk to Main Street, but still far enough so it didn’t have any street noise. Fantastic place to stay. Will definitely stay here again for future trips!
Honey Haus is cozy very clean and really close to Main St. I would recommend it to my family and friends. You will not be disappointed. Can’t wait to come back!

About the host
Hosted by Kerinne Herber
My husband, Treff, is a native of Fredericksburg. We wanted to keep our home that we brought our babies home to and watched them take their first steps in, so we decided to get back into the short term rental business. We previously had a few B&Bs for 12 years before this but we sold them.
Why they chose this property
My mom purchased this home in 2007 to have a place to stay when she visits us. We helped her remodel this house twice - once when we had 2 kids and the second time after we had 5 kids. This home has been a fun project for us to expand and update over the past 10 years.
What makes this property unique
This is a charming home in the historic district with modern amenities. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
