Host was very informative and kept in touch if needed. We truly loved the property and can’t wait to try and experience the lake life in warmer weather!
Sarah is very responsive to communication. This was our second stay at this special cabin. We love the location, the drive in to cabin and the privacy. The beds are comfortable and the whole cabin offers coziness and charm! Even though it was a tad chilly, my sisters and I loved cuddling up on the screened in porch to watch the sun rises over the lake. We will be back!!!

Thank you for returning to our cabin again this year to enjoy your fall getaway in the Finger Lakes! It's always a pleasure to host you and your friends, Janet!
Perfect location to hiking trails, wineries and restaurants. The screened in porch was great for playing card games, looking at the lake and drinking coffee. Great place to enjoy time with the family.
Comfortable place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our week. Fire pit was very nice. View of lake could be a bit improved if some of the smaller trees were removed, but overall it was relaxing.
We loved our time here so much the first time around on an adult trip in 2019 that we had to bring our kids back the second time around. Made the best memories, and will definitely be back.

Lori was a gracious guest. Her group took great care of our cabin and are welcome back any time.
We rented this cabin for a girl’s trip to the finger lakes area. The cabin was perfect for our group. The screened back porch was our favorite spot. We never used much of the rest of the house as the porch was so inviting. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great property.
Seclude bliss was our home away from home for 3 nights. What a darling storybook / our very own Virgin River moment. Stocked with all the conveniences of home. We are all ready talking about booking our next trip in the later summer. We definitely recommend.
Definitely an appropriate name for this lovely cabin! Very charming and quaint inside and surrounded by trees and the lake outside. We loved it! The host was more than responsive. We would for sure come back.

Thanks for staying with us, Melissa. Be sure to stop back in 2022 to check the updates we’re making to the cabin.
This has been our 3rd stay and they have made some changes to the place, which is always nice! And they always have wood for the campfire, which is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Nice cabin, a few lights need fixed especially the one outside to come up the steps
The property owners were nice, my husband got sick so we were only there about 8 hours before heading home

Hi, Pamela. We do hope you and your husband are well. You will be pleased to know that we finally were able to get someone out the the cabin to overhaul our lighting and update the electrical system at the cabin in November 2021. Overhead lights were upgraded in the living and dining areas, as well as above both beds in the loft. The outdoor lights were also enhanced. We do hope you are able to return and pick up where you left off.
There was nothing about our stay that wasn’t perfect. Even the rainy weather gave us an opportunity to catch up, play some ping pong, and enjoy our favorite spot - the screened in back porch! As a retired nurse and part-time cleaner for an a vacation rental, I and my sisters were very impressed with the cleanliness of the property! We also enjoyed the deer and other wild life that visited with us. Thank you!
This hideaway tucked up from the lake was spectacular! The 100+ steps to the lake just guaranteed our daily workout! The cabin was supplied with everything needed plus extras. Cleanliness is my utmost requirement and this exceeded expectations. Screened porch was a favorite in evenings along with the fire pit. This deserves a 5 star plus rating! Sarah was wonderful to work with in answering questions and providing ample information.

About the host
Hosted by Sarah Mantell Marino
We love the Finger Lakes and we love to share all that this incredible area has to offer!
Why they chose this property
Location, location, location. It's at the center of anything you need to make your stay ideal for you while providing a peaceful sanctuary amongst the trees.
- 10 minutes from downtown Penn Yan (wonderful coffee shops, art collectives, a bakery and more!) and Keuka Lake Trail (Keuka Spring, Weis, Living Roots and Ravines to name a few of our favorites!) - 15 minutes to Geneva (a haven for food and wine enthusiasts! Visit a speakeasy, catch a show at the historic Smith Opera House and curate a personalized wine experience with a master somm) - 20 minutes to Watkins Glenn (home to Nascar, wonderful shops, Ben and Jerry's and a vintage movie theater) - 1 mile from Keuka Outlet Trail (bike or hike your way to two beautiful waterfalls and pause to soak in nature's beauty along the way!) - Walking or drive to Climbing Bines Brewery
What makes this property unique
Our cabin is truly a magical place any time of year.
In the winter months cozy up with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and your favorite book or movie in front of our custom stone fireplace. The view of the lake is incredible once the leaves have fallen and the smell of cedar nourishes the soul. Our neighborhood is quiet and the snow covered path to the cabin adds to its tranquility.
Feel alive in the spring as everything comes into bloom! Wine trail events begin to pick up and area hiking trails begin to thaw. The waterfalls in Watkins Glenn and along the Keuka Outlet Trail run free in the spring!
Summer is our peak season on Seneca Lake. Take a refreshing morning swim, enjoy the fire pit and stop for a pint at our local brewery.
Fall is alive with color. The trees surrounding our property are ablaze with shades of red and yellow, creating the perfect canopy of color above the cabin. The sun is warm, the air is cool and the local cuisine is at its best.
We feel so fortunate to live at the center of such a beautiful place.
