A lovely 2 bedroom cottage, clean and well presented. Ideal for family, couples and fishing groups. Close base to the heart of Coromandel, beach, boat ramps golf course and parks.

The comfortable cottage has unlimited Wi-Fi, Sky TV/Sports and heat pump/air-conditioning. Bedroom 1 offers a queen bed and 2 singles, while room 2 a double. It has a self-catering kitchen with microwave, benchtop oven with 2 hot plate elements and all the utensils needed to cook up a storm. Your 4 burner BBQ is near your deck area where you can sit back and relax.

Ideal set up for those keen fishermen with ample flat parking, fish filleting table and smoke house, (see below). Hose down area for your boat also available.

Ideally located near Coromandel Township, less than 2 minutes drive to town, and a flat 10 minute stroll south east to Long Bay Beach and surrounding bush walks.

Hosts – Margaret and Kevin also live on site in a separate dwelling. They are quietly around and available if guests need assistance but are unobtrusive. Alternatively you can contact the manager of the property.

Smoke house is available for your use. There will be a small fee for this to cover expenses. Please see your hosts if you wish to use.

Fantastic location

Only a bike ride away from town and some beautiful bays/beach’s. Driving distance to the beaches north and east coastline. Margaret and Stoney were amazing friendly hosts who were a laugh a minute, yet don’t impede your personal space. Accommodation was comfortable and provided for all we needed. Will def be staying again

Comfortable stay in beautiful Coromandel

A spacious and very clean property with everything we needed, included a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and air conditioning kept the place cool in the 30C temperature. Easy access with parking next to the house. It was quiet and located close to the waterfront and a 20 minute to walk to Coromandel town which has some good restaurants.

Fishing trip with my two sond

The fishing was average, mainly due to the weather, but was more than made up for by the hospitality of the wonderful hosts. The accommodation was perfect for us, extremely well presented and fully equipped. Because we left early we didn’t get to say thank you to the hosts so Margaret if you get to read this then thanks so much for everything. Regards Peter, Reuben and Daniel.

Friendly batch

Our host was friendly and welcoming, and the batch was impeccably clean with all necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and cosy bed sheets. We enjoyed the delicious bowl of feijoas provided. The only drawback for us, (who live in a remote area) was the noise from the nearby road. Something we are not used to.

This sweet little 2 bedroom unit was perfect for the 4 of us (3 adults and 1 child) Our room had a double with 2 singles and the spare room had a double. The kitchen dining and living is one space and suited us fine. The hosts welcome you and let you in, they also gave us complete privacy to come and go as we please. (Their house is next door) They were absolutely lovely, and I especially loved looking at their vegetable gardens. Thank you for the baking on arrival, lovely to enjoy with a cuppa after a long drive! The property is located just by the wharf and perfect for morning run into town or stroll to the wharf for fish!

No space to relax outside

Inside of unit was compact with a very strong odour of ? Incense or toilet cleaner that was overwhelming , otherwise adequate. There was only a gravel concrete area outside with a small deck not conducive to relaxing so we didn’t bother to use kitchen facilities and ate out which was more relaxing.
