Nestled on the top of the Great Dividing Range, Karma is a great place to unwind and relax. We have four self contained cottages/nests, one studio apartment and a conference center if required. Ideal for groups or that special occasion.
Gorgeous, cosy, hexagonal shaped 1 or 2 BR accommodation in the heart of Kinglake, home to the amazing Kinglake National Park. Just an hour from Melbourne airport and CBD close to wineries of the Yarra Valley and fabulous walking and cycling trails. Garden setting, log fires, families welcome!
Karma Kinglake was built after the disastrous fires on Black Saturday 2009. Wherever possible recycled materials and reclaimed timbers from properties in the local area have been used. We endeavor to be as self sustaining as possible, we have rain water tanks, our own orchard and vegie patch and we treat all waste water.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire property (which is just over 3 acres), we have specific rooms available for guests who require disability access and we welcome well behaved dogs.
Make yourself at home, ask us about our local native birds (feed them from your deck area) or grab some eggs from our resident chickens. We live onsite and are here if you need us and happy to help you explore.

Thanks Pat, We will keep you freezer bricks until you return
Steve & Nicole are great hosts, we had a wonderful few days staying in one of their very clean & well appointed units, our time at the property was very relaxing, and we can't wait to visit again.
Great short stay, with kids & close to all Kinglake & surrounds has to offer
A great short stay with kids. Very clean & welcoming cottage. A 5 minute walk to the shops, pub for dinner & an amazing park for kids. Lovely staying in such a peaceful location, amongst the trees.
It's a beautiful and well-kept property, with a great treeline surrounding the perimeter of the area. Sunset from our unit was spectacular, and so were the wild birds that came to visit in the evening. Just a short walk from the town centre and a large playground. We travelled with our dogs this time who enjoyed their stay as much as we did, and we will be back with my 8 year old girl very soon as Karma Kinglake is also very family friendly!
The cabin was perfect for us and our baby. Lots of bird life, gorgeous native flowers, plus some friendly chickens made for a lovely location. The cabin was clean, and there was plenty of wood for the (very efficient) log heater! We loved it. We will be back.
This was a great little place. It had a fire place already set up and ready to go. There are chickens running around the place and some vege gardens at the back.
The place itself was very big and roomy. Waking up in the morning hearing the wind through the trees was quite relaxing.
We were very happy with the stay and definitely recommend.
