Such a charming cottage, we felt like we were back home. Situated in the midst of the Yarra wine region, we could easily get to our tastings. Better yet, the fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare some excellent meals to go with the wines we were discovering. Every evening there was wildlife (and cattle) to watch, very entertaining!

This was a beautiful place to stay. Its a working farm, so seeing the cows react when they knew they were being fed was entertaining. We had everything we needed, central to local areas if you need anything. The owners are lovely and friendly. Great stay

Amazing fully self-contained farm house! Complete kitchen, laundry and BBQ, everything you need for a stay. Located down a quite lane, with no noise exept the cows and local bird life to wake up to. Enjoying a drink on the verandah and watching the cattle graze and the local kangaroos is the perfect way to spend the day here. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful little gem. Peaceful, quiet and surrounded by rolling hills. And only 10 minutes from Yarra Glen. The property was immaculate and we were greeted by the hosts when we arrived. We'll definately be going back.

I absolutely adored staying at this property which was made so welcoming by the excellent communication from Jacqui. She went above and beyond to make sure that the weekend was extra special. This place is a little piece of paradise, and if you are looking for nature and quiet this is it. Gorgeous cattle and wildlife to watch and only less than ten minutes into Yarra Glen. The place was spotlessly clean for us and we have already booked to come back again. Couldn't recommend it highly enough for a peaceful getaway.

Quiet country retreat

Galoglen Cottage is the perfect place to rest, recuperate and relax. The views are magnificent and the sounds of the birds and animals relaxing. Such a wonderful place and friendly hosts.

Our hosts were absolutely lovely (and their cattle were very pretty). Very comfortable beds & bedding, good kitchen supplies, pretty all needs were met! I loved talking to them about their stock; they are lovely, caring people. I really needed a break, and sitting on the verandah, in the starry dark, listening to the cows and the rain, and smelling the eucalypts was an absolute joy. I wish I could've had longer!

Perfect getaway

Close to Yarra Valley ballooning, Yarra Glen, Healesville etc, and yet quiet and peaceful. Great to have the property to ourselves and with all the comforts Host was lovely, accommodating and friendly
