Had a great short weekend at Almost Aspen. Conveniently placed on the slopes.Pool table needs updated.Not adequately stocked with cleaning materials (trash bags, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent)Overall great stay if you are looking to stay in the Davis, WV area.Would definitely book our next family get together here!

It's been special to us since! Convenience to the slopes was awesome! The rocker in front of the fireplace was my fave spot! I didn't have much need to interact with anyone, but the little that I did was very easy

1) The TV stand is broken!!! That TV is GOING to fall on someone.

1) The TV stand is broken!!! That TV is GOING to fall on someone. You can look at the stand and it is bowing in the middle and the back leg did not look stable. 2) The window on the main floor behind the couch was unable to close fully letting in some snow. 3) The basement door is extremely difficult to lock. I worked with Becky and she was WONDERFUL. Happy to rent with her again :)

Underwhelmed

The space itself was great, the experience around the space, less so. I emailed the property manager regarding the grill (the photos show gas but description says charcoal) and kitchen appliances, specifically a griddle. I was assured there was a charcoal grill, not a gas grill, and no griddle, so I purchased charcoal, lighter fluid, and a griddle for our needs. Of course I arrive and there is no charcoal grill but a gas grill, and a griddle. The wifi information was incorrect and the fix was to simply restart the router, with no details where to find that in a 6 bedroom home. The hot tub instructions said it was slow to heat up, and when we arrived on Friday it was off and the temperature was 66. It took overnight and into the morning (half of our stay) to heat to a reasonable temperature. The pictures showed a great pool table but in reality the pool table didn’t have all the balls, a rack, or any non-broken cues to play with. Then, at checkout, which was early at 10:30, we had to wash towels and dishes before leaving, meaning basically we had to be ready to leave around 9:30. We had high hopes for this place but the reality did not match what we expected.

I booked our stay for a group of 12 to go rafting locally. We loved the property and location. There was something for everyone! We are already planning our next trip back in the winter. It was a beautiful house on the interior and our group lived the pool table and hot tub. Everyone was great.

Love it will be back.

Love it will be back. Each time the group gets bigger. May need two units next time. Convenient to lodge and with hot tub and pool table you can do a lot without leaving house. The interior is very nice. Very courteous helpful and willing to address any issues.
