SKI INN. And we REALLY mean ski into the deck and ski on and off Timberline Mountain’s Salamander Trail. Oh, so easy, this is ski trip heaven! This truly slope side home offers two family rooms, all new appliances, and a large deck that is sure to be a favorite gathering spot year-round. There are lots of large windows so even those who do not enjoy the cold can enjoy watching the skiers as they navigate Salamander, the longest ski slope in the Southeast. Unload, unpack, and enjoy a week or weekend of great skiing and the convenience of never moving the car. Hikers pay attention. Spring, summer, and fall visitors will love the location and easy access to Dolly Sods. Ski Inn offers an outdoor hot tub, ping pong table and foosball game. Pack your gear. No matter what time of year there is lots to do here. Well behaved dogs are invited to join the fun, but please not on the slopes. Winter access is difficult. Please be prepared with four-wheel drive and tire chains.

Host company was great and quick to respond to any questions. How was decent and had many amenities like games, gas grill and hot tub. Location was fantastic with direct slope access. Four wheel drive and tire chains are definitely needed in rough wintry conditions. Home showed some signs of aging like creaky floors, chairs, table and loose electrical outlets.
