About this property

Escape to your own Hayborough haven! Ideally situated between Victor Harbor and Pt Elliot and just minutes away from the beach. Perhaps you may just want laze on the upstairs outdoor deck and soak up the outstanding hillside views. Ideal for families and for those that just want to get away.

Spread yourselves out and around the cozy upstairs open plan setting comprising of a large living and dining area with a kitchen inclusive of stainless steel appliances, r/c air conditioner, TV, DVD as well as access to the fabulous deck area which offers sweeping views and surrounds of the Hayborough hillside landscape with an outdoor dining set and BBQ. There is also the master bedroom with a Queen bed and WIR and a large communal bathroom.

The ground floor area has another living space ideal as a kids/ teenagers retreat with TV, DVD, r/c air conditioning and access to the fully enclosed yard area. There are 3 other bedrooms, a Tri-Bunk in each of the 2 bedrooms and another Queen bed in the other bedroom. There is also a bathroom and laundry with a washing machine for use.

This is a fully self-catered holiday rental property. We recommend that you bring with you everything you need for the enjoyment of your holiday. Mattress protectors, quilts and quilt covers, pillows and pillow protectors are provided, but you are required to bring your own bedsheets, pillow cases, towels, bath mats and tea towels.
If you wish to hire linen, please contact our office and we will be happy to arrange this for you. The linen company requires a minimum of 3 days notification prior to your arrival to coordinate your hired linen, which will be delivered to the property prior to your arrival. Please note we do not offer a bed making service.

Comfortable Holiday House

Great location, close to beach. Comfortable beds and easy layout of house with a great balcony. Kitchen had most things needed but could have been a little more organised. No hairdryer, no hanging space in bedrooms other than main one. No iron either. For a 7 night booking we managed but maybe something the owner could consider. Cleanliness of home was average, one spare bed very dusty before we made it up with our linen. A few cobwebs around plus we also cleaned the Barbeque before using it. Some kitchenware also needed a wash before use. Overall though we had a great Christmas week there with plenty to do around the beautiful area. Other places we have stayed at over the Christmas week have had a few Christmas decorations, even a tree! Perhaps something else the owner may consider next time! We didn't pack any decorations so we created a small 12"tree, with coloured paper decorations, from a branch off a scrub in the garden !!

Not a WOW experience.

Great location. But as far as cleanliness it was dreadful. Kitchen sink was filthy. I had to disinfect prior to using. Every room in the house had cobwebs and daddy long leg spiders. We had to spray all the rooms prior to slerping on our first night. No Wi-Fi and photos on internet were deceiving. The kitchen was no where as big as photos shown. BBQ was clean and happy with that. Mattress were uncomfortable and the springs were awful every time we turned .

Great location, spacious

Lots of bedding options, spacious living area but pretty sparse with furnishings. Loved the big upstairs deck - overlooks the hills. Lots of parking, undercover behind gates. Great enclosed secure yard for dogs. Large lawn area. No wifi so limited tv options for teenagers. Close walking distance to Chiton Surf club and beach so that’s a bonus, close drive to shops either at Victor or Port Elliot.
