Great location

Great property, and location. Real shame, the property is full of dog hair, and the outdoor area wasn't that inviting as it hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival.

What a great apartment in an amazing location. We loved the space, the location and the quality. Such a great spot to stay in with teenagers - we could all just wander as we wished enjoying all that Victor Harbor has to offer.

We loved our stay very close to shops,hotels,granite island tram and lots more. My only concern was there was only 1 key available to use,therefore every time we separated it was a nightmare trying to arrange to get back at same time so one of us could let the other into the property .

Relaxing weekend away

Wonderful penthouse property in a perfect location with fantastic views. Underground safe parking for two cars and walking distance to everything within the town . Very spacious clean modern kitchen with fridge icemaker coffee machine and everything you would need. Balcony furniture was comfortable and relaxing large screen TV with sound bar. Spacious clean bathrooms , one with very large soaking tub and all 3 bedrooms on the 2 nd floor with very comfortable beds More than enough pillows with clean crisp sheets and doonas. This property is very well looked after and would suit couples , Or families with children. An excellent property all-round and We will definitely be back.

Reviewer Comments: Stayed with a golf group and the apartment is spacious and excellent configuration with kitchen, living area and balcony downstairs and bedrooms up internal stairs. Our group had Penthouses 26 and 25 and this was the better of the 2 in our opinion. Great location with a 2 minute walk to restaurants and pubs. Secure access to apartments and basement garage. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent communication and response from South Coast Realty throughout the booking process and checkin.

Great location

The property is in a fantastic location, with beautiful views of the ocean. Walk to everything. Apartment layout is great. Comfortable apartment but could do with a bit of an upgrade of bed covers (which the main bedroom cover was coming unstitched in several places) & the dining chairs are covered in cat scratches. The property is promoted as being a luxury apartment, these things need to be upgraded. We found a used towel in the wardrobe on checking in, which was very disappointing, especially as places are supposed to be extra clean during this time of COVID! Otherwise a good place to stay & we enjoyed our time there.

Pet hair everywhere - needs a good clean!

Pet hair everywhere- absolutely covering lounge room rug, all over dooner cover in bedroom, absolutely disgusting! I’m allergic to cat hair & seriously thought about cutting our holiday short because I was so sick. Elevator stopped working & the 2 people that we rang for help weren’t interested in coming & fixing it, we were with a number of other residents & holiday makers that couldn’t use their key fobs to get the elevator to work either. We were told to wriggle the control panel until the light came on to get it to work (which didn’t work) but if everyone had been told to wriggle the control panel & the wires were broken then it’s not going to work & the person who I contacted said “lucky the stairs aren’t going anywhere”. There were 2 pieces of stale bread in the toaster Spider webs, I had to spray & clean a big red back & web from 2nd bedroom on the door inside. Outside the bedrooms & lounge room balconies there we’re spider webs everywhere- needs a good pest spray & clean! Outside tables were so dirty, I had to clean them for us to have lunch out there. Fridge door doesn’t close properly, they get caught on each other & then there’s a big puddle of water to clean up & some of our food spoiled. Dishwasher wheel comes off & all the utensils & plates etc crash. Sticky bits in the fridge that I needed to clean up Previous guests had left food in the freezer- Ice cream, bread etc.

Hello Lisa, sorry to hear about the pet hair. The property gets cleaned on a regular basis but the owners have pets when they come down. You were staying over the long weekend in a building under strata management, the residents should have contacted the strata if it was urgent.. I have your messages on the emergency phone where you were joking about sleeping in the car and we replied with a smiley face “I hope not don’t think the stairs aren’t going anywhere”. I also wish to address the balcony , that is cleaned on a regular basis but the steam ranger causes a lot of soot to land on the properties nearby. Thank you for reporting the maintenance we will address this with the owners asap.

Property was not clean. Smell in air vent. Had to buy own coffee and smell devices for wall. Had to buy own toilet paper. Stay was not amazing but location and space is great

The apartment is spacious and well appointed with arguably the best view in Victor.Beds are very comfortable and linen is of good quality.The property was clean and well maintained.On collection from the agent, the key was accompanied by a small bag of chocolates which was a nice touch.It would have been helpful to have a second key to enable Granparents to access the unit independently from the rest of the Family, but we managed our way around this.Victor Harbor and McCracken golf courses are both within a 6 minute driving radius which made this a perfect venue for our son.Granite Island, the major hotels, restaurants and shopping centre are all just a 5 minute walk away.Having the Cockel Train pull up to the Victor Harbour Station immediately behind the Breeze was an added attraction, that a young family would particularly enjoy.We have recommended this venue to our friends and family for a quiet, comfortable stay, overlooking the park, the sea and the spectacular Norfolk Pines.

Apartment in need of some replacing of furniture and TLC. Could do with a fresh coat of paint and new dining table and a clean of the outside furniture pillows all stained. Apartment was not as clean as expected dust on all furniture inside and furniture and balcony outside needed to be cleaned prior to arrival. Linen was stated to be provided but upon arrival there was no linen and had to ring the property management to send over and then was given 1 set of double bed sheets instead of queen. Upstairs balcony of master bedroom not even able to walk outside due to dust and dirtiness of the area.

House definitely needed to be vacuumed. Lots of hair in rug in lounge. Seems as if there are lots of other peoples items left behind so property hasn’t been checked or cleaned properly. We placed the linen in the laundry bag and left outside but what happens with the quilt covers and blankets that are not washed by the laundry company? We were instructed to place bins on the road but bins were not labelled so didn’t know which bin was suppose to be allocated to us. House has nice colour coordination and was presented tidy just not clean. The complimentary chocolates were a thoughtful idea and we enjoyed them! Located in an excellent position. Very close to everything and great view!

Great apartment. Plenty of room. Disappointing that the lights and stove don’t work properly and that for the price no wifi is available. Needs a good external clean and electrical maintenance.

Pine views

This unit is situated on a street that is very busy in the summer holiday season, so a lot of noise comes from the nearby park, playground and amusement park; if this bothers you, windows remain closed! It is reasonably well equipped and comfortable, but the carpets and walls could do with a clean. There is no WiFi so your mobile hot spot will get a workout. There's a partial water view through the pine trees, which offer protection from the wind. The central location is convenient if you like to be in the middle of the action.

Beautiful location and penthouse!

We had such an amazing time at this penthouse apartment! We really enjoyed our stay and definitely would come back! I would make sure you either bring or buy toilet paper and all the other little necessities as there wasn’t much left in the apartment for us! The place smelt nice and clean upon arriving but we found the balcony areas were really dirty, the windows needed a good clean and also the walls needed a wipe down! Other than that we had the best stay and we look forward to possibly returning again in the future!! Would definitely recommend to everyone!!

We loved the appartment, location and general fitout of the home. The home is well laid out and all the modern conveniences ( except Wifi ). Big TV, Diswahser, Modern kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms and great views and outdoor seating. Overall we definitely give this home a 9/10. Some minor points for the landlord that would cost less than $30/week as an add on, but would go a long way to making this a 10/10 experience. We would highly recommend the following that were not present in the home - Chux for easy leaning of surfaces, a bottle of dishwashing liquid ( instead of 2 sachets provided), dishwashing tablets, say 3 or 4 toilet rolls per bathroom, bags for bins and maybe even soap, shampoo and conditioner for the showers. I know NBN is being rolled out into the building at the moment, and I believe this is a must have in a luxury rental like this. Another must have is some smaller bed pillows. Our small kids absolutely struggled with the standard large pillows, as did I. Thanks again for a providing a great Holiday home for our Summer Holiday :) Ps the last review mentioned Pet Hairs on the pillow and a blanket.. we noticed that as well, but I think it is actually from the rug in the lounge, rather than from any pets.

Needs some attention to detail

Great property, great location, good standard of accommodation, but......a lot of pet hairs (probably cat?) on the doona cover and the matching pillow slips were definitely off putting, and more attention needs to be paid to cleaning such as dusting.
