On the West End of Sanibel, you will find the well-kept secret of Sand Pointe with only 45 units and quiet beaches. ***PLEASE NOTE: POOL IS CURRENTLY NOT OPERATIONAL and has an estimated completion date of JULY/AUGUST 2026. ELEVATORS ARE CURRENTLY NOT WORKING AND ARE PROJECTED TO BE OPERATIONAL IN MARCH 2026. Exterior landscaping projects are on going. These timelines are projections and are not guaranteed.****

Located on the desirable West Gulf Drive, Sand Pointe is a favorite among visitors. Unit 231 is a top floor, end-unit providing an abundance of sun light and stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico over the lagoon and pool. Following Hurricane Ian, the condo was taken down to the studs and built back with all new flooring and paint throughout, brand new AC unit, a modern kitchen with all new appliances and everything you need to make all your meals in-house, and beautifully updated bathrooms. To complete the look, you will enjoy all new, upscale furniture, area rugs and décor with a chic coastal vibe in blues and neutral tones. This spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests.

Your primary suite looks out over the Gulf of Mexico with all new bedding & king-sized mattress, and a smart TV. For guests needing to work while on vacation, the owners have thoughtfully provided a desk in this quiet space. The luxurious ensuite bathroom offers a large, porcelain tiled, walk-in shower, spacious countertop, and extended cabinetry. In the second bedroom, your guests will find 2 twin beds with new bedding & mattresses, and a smart TV. The newly updated guest bathroom with a combo tub/shower is just steps away from the guest room. For additional guests there are 2 twin size air mattresses available in the unit.

After a long day at the beach hunting for the perfect shell or exploring Ding Darling to catch a glimpse of the island’s native wildlife, you can look forward to watching the game on a large smart TV in the living room or enjoying some family time playing a game around the dining table. More memories can be made on your private lanai which overlooks the heated pool, lagoon, and Gulf of Mexico. The lanai runs the full length of the unit with an area for dining and 2 comfortable loungers -the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The unit is stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella & cooler– everything you and your family needs for those long-awaited days on the beach!

Additional amenities include community heated pool (currently not operational), elevator (currently not operational) and covered parking. The beach is easily accessible by a sandy path.

Beautiful views,lovely fixtures and furnishings though the TV system has us a little baffled but then we didn't really want to watch it anyway.The rental company staff were very welcoming and helpful and provided all we needed.Best thing about the 2BR arrangement if you travel as a couple is as much room as you need in the bathroom to put out your toiletries if, as like me, your wife fills the whole sink surround with hers!

The condo was ok

This condo overall was nice! The location was awesome it is quiet, close to everything , bike trail right across from condo , it had beautiful views of ocean/ pool! The main reason I say it was just ok is it needs some updating , paint and the furniture is getting well used look. The pool is nice good size only thing is at that time they were waiting for a part for the heater and were working on it when we left but it is keep sparkling . But overall if that was done we would def, come back again!

We ran 2 loads of dishes in the dishwasher before we could use any. There were dirty sheets in the closet and a dirty pillow. Several pillows didn't have pillow cases. Master shower water backed up to your ankles when showering. Beach chairs very rusty and need replacing. Several light bulbs were burned out. I would recommend this property because of location, condo size, comfortable furniture , covered parking and it's very quiet. Beware of iguanas near pool. They won't hurt you but sure startled us.

location, location, location!

As you can tell, our favorite part of our stay here was the location of the apartment. The view to the Gulf was an enduring delight, and it was sublime to be able to hit the beach within 5 minutes. Sleeping to the sound of the surf is one of the main reasons we go the Sanibel. The 3rd floor corner location made this unit superior to other Sanibel condos we have rented. We liked everything about the Sand Pointe development- gorgeous lagoon, great pool, clean and quiet. The condo itself is spacious and clean, with lots of convenient storage space and open counters. We also really appreciated the beach towels and the ease of doing laundry. We did find the management company to be a bit challenging- they require a payment by check, which led to some initial confusion, since it appeared that this might void the VRBO warranty. (Turns out it does not, so all was well.) Also, they do not return the security deposit for 4-5 weeks after you depart. But they do start you off with soap and paper goods and let you know the quantity, which was very helpful. In order to make the condo a match for its amazing location, we would also recommend an investment in some new pillows and a washable filter for the coffee pot. But these are small things, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Escape

We loved the condo and the complex. Beautiful views and nice and quiet. Great location with just a short walk to the beach. If you do plan on using the kitchen for meals or snacks I would suggest you bring your own knives. We would definitely come back to stay.

Small property great location

I have been going to Sanibel for years. This my new favorite place to stay price is rite and small but very well taken care of property. My only minus was the carpet in our condo needed cleaned. Everything else was as aspected.

Tastefully decorated and comfortable

The property is nicely located on the island. It's a top floor, corner unit, so, excellent natural light and wonderful view of the ocean. It's tastefully decorated and comfortable. There is nearly everything you need including books and beach items in the unit. There were a couple of housekeeping issues such as burned out lightbulbs and old frying pans but overall, it's a very nice rental property. We enjoyed our stay.
