Mariner Pointe 1022: Stunning Direct Bayfront View & Great Amenities!

Mariner Pointe Update: We are finally able to welcome back guests as of January 31, 2026! Most on-site amenities have been restored including the community pools, BBQ grills, fishing pier and boat slips. There may be some additional recovery work that will take place throughout 2026 including building milestone repairs, Quantum Internet Fiber installation, tennis court restoration, and a large landscaping project. We can provide more updates once we have them however schedules may be subject to change. Even with these final touches underway, your beach vacation will still be extraordinary and we look forward to welcoming you back!

Mariner Pointe #1022 is the perfect bay-side retreat with an ideal location and is fully equipped with everything you'll need including a view! This updated 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2nd story condo is your new home away from home and is sure to please on your next island vacation. You'll be greeted with stunning bay front water views and the Sanibel Causeway where you can spot manatees and dolphins playing and ospreys and eagles flying high. The master suite boasts those same great views, a King sized bed, and a large updated bathroom. The guest bedroom offers 2 Twin beds and the 2nd bathroom can be closed off from the rest of the condo for more privacy. Sit back and relax in your screen and glass enclosed lanai area where you can spend your days enjoying all the beauty that Sanibel has to offer!

Mariner Pointe is a great community that offers an array of enjoyable amenities to its guests and has the ideal location with easy on & off access to the Sanibel Causeway and is close to nearby beaches, bike paths, shops & restaurants. Enjoy two heated swimming pools, two all-weather tennis courts, a private fishing pier, eleven barbecue grills, private canal-side dockage, shuffleboard, reserved parking, deeded beach access and an easy-in/out kayak launch pad with nearby storage area.

Condo amenities include: 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms -- 1 King bed & 2 Twin bed (sleeps 4), Smart TV's (streaming only), WIFI available, fully equipped kitchen, 2 heated shared pools, 2 community tennis courts, public BBQ gas grills, public dock & fishing pier, in-suite washer & dryer. Bed linens and Bath towels included. This unit comes stocked with beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella. No elevator access. No Pets allowed.

7 night minimum rental period is required. This unit is non-smoking with a maximum occupancy of 4 people. Boats slip rental and kayak/paddleboard launching available on-site at Mariner Pointe for an additional fee.

The location is perfect, off of the main road for minimal noise while still being a short drive to stores and beaches. Late evening walks almost always resulted in a close up dolphin siting, and the scenery is beautiful! The apartment was spotless, and the stocked beach items were very much appreciated. We had no complaints and would definitely recommend this place! We can't wait to come back!

Unit was terrific and properly manager was also. Would suggest combination lock for door, that would allow keyless entry and not require driving across town in heavy traffic to get key and same when checking out

Amazing Views

We rented Dee's condo for a girls week/birthday celebration and we're still smiling. The views from the condo cannot be properly described. The floor to ceiling view of the bay is breathtaking at any point in the day. It's the very first thing you see as you enter the space. The accomodations are well appointmented, plenty of room and comfortable. Having a washer/dryer in the unit is a huge plus. The other owners/renters on the property were so nice and we feel like we left Sanibel with some great new friends. Mariner's Pointe is in a secluded location, easy to access from the Causeway and easy to get to everything. The pools are clean, refreshing and close to the unit. It was too warm to play tennis when we visited, but the courts were in top shape. But the most amazing part of the week was the spectacular wildlife show we were treated to daily. A dolphin family came in the morning and late day to feed and entertain us. They swim right up to the boardwalk, close enough to reach down and touch. It was absolutely thrilling. We also had numerous manatee sightings. Don't spend any money on an eco tour, you'll see more right from the edge of the property or from the lanai of the condo. I've vacationed in Florida for years and never experienced anything quite like this. Sanibel is truly a remarkable location. I visited when I was 7 and I don't think it has changed dramatically in over 40 years. Its still quiet, laid back, charming, friendly and beautiful. I highly recommend a vacation on Sanibel Island and this property is a perfect place to stay.

Great fishing

The condo was lovely although not as big as some others at Mariner Pointe. At this rental price TV’s should be smart TV’s, not old style TV’s. Also internet has no password, so it was not secure. So we had to use our own hot spot. Fishing was great and Sanibel biking & restaurants were wonderful as always!

Poor management communication

We were harassed by HOA representative. Could not reach anyone from management for 24 hours. Once we reached management, we only received excuses and no one followed up with us to clarify or even apologize for the treatment. We spent the remainder of our stay wondering if the HOA was going to harass us further. Will not stay there next time we visit.

Two weeks in paradise

The property was just as advertised and the view was spectacular. Being one of the first properties off the causeway greatly simplified getting on and off the island when traffic was heavy. Access to bike trails and the beach chairs provided in the unit helped make our stay very relaxing. It is highly likely that we will return.

Lucky Find!

We very much enjoyed our two weeks at Mariner Pointe and are looking forward to returning in 2021. The condo is wonderful. We loved the furnishings and the spectacular water views. Sanibel is busy and traffic can be a trial, but Mariner Pointe is far from the congestion. Easy on and off the causeway and, you can avoid the Periwinkle traffic if you take the scenic road nearer the ocean. Being close to Grandma Dot's is another plus!
