We had a great time in this holiday house celebrating Easter with our family and friends. The weather was perfect so we could enjoy the outdoor areas. Urunga and Bellingen are beautiful, with lots of great places to visit and wonderful nature.

Thanks Harlie, glad you enjoyed your stay :) was a pleasure having you in our home, you were the perfect guests!
Beautiful home and nice and quiet location. Very spacious home and backyard.
5 minute drive to town.
Close to everything in Urunga.
Would definitely go back!
Our growig family had a great week spent at Urunga. The property is a 5 minute walk to shops, beaches and is only a minute drive from the highway. The house was perfect for our needs and our pooch loved the huge, fenced back yard.Great communication from our hosts meant we had everything we needed.Recommended!!
Fabulous house, roomy enough for our family of 9 to spend our christmas. Close enough to the water, shops & restaurants. Amazing yard where we spent many hours & as it was securely fenced our 1 year old could run freely. Would highly recommend this house to anyone thinking of staying in Urunga.
Layout of house was great. Approx location on listing is not accurate - it’s not in town, however only about 1km out. Comfortable home, clean and tidy. No basic shampoo/conditoner/soap in ensuite. No washing basket which was annoying as we did wash daily being a family. No bbq which would have been super helpful being a family booking of 7. Yard is great for kids and our fur baby - spacious, fully fenced and secure. As other reviews have stated, could do with a handrail on the steps leading down from the back verandah for safety reasons. Owner was accommodating regarding checking in earlier. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Thank you.
A friends' reunion of 6 people. A very nice home with a large fenced garden overlooking bushland at side and back. Lots of bird activity. We would stay again but would be more prepared.
Really enjoyed staying here, but it was not as much fun for our lovely labradors as a part of the chicken wire fence had a hole in it and caved in. So the younger labrador went wandering. Lucky the gate on the back balcony was working, so we could leave them secured if we had to go out, and it was shaded.
Beds were fabulously comfortable, showers great, comfy living room and the balcony was a cool place to have lunch/dinner.
Just a couple of problems - hot water system could only supply luke warm water. Kitchen sink not draining properly. Suggest the rear stairs railing be completed - an accident waiting to happen. Glass table in the lounge room may also need to be replaced - potential accident.
Thank you for sharing your home - we would like to book again next year.

Thanks for your feedback Bruce. The hot water system has a boost switch, which must have been switched off by another guest. If you had contacted us we could have advised how to resolve the issue.
Thanks for staying
House was tidy but not clean. Showers not cleaned properly . Fridge and cupboards need cleaning. Mould on conditioner bottle in bathroom and no soap holder. No bbq as advertised. But a cleaning fee if left dirty Only one garage door operating and too heavy for us to lift We had 2 cars. Patio door difficult to open.Stairs down from side patio had no rails ? Legality of this. No rail on internal stairs but manageable.
We had the most amazing time at Urunga. The house was perfect for us!
It was so spacious and away from everything. I would definitely recommend this property!

Cute house but grubby
House had a good layout and location. Some key essentials missing. No soap, washing liquid or clean sponges. Broken, used pans and spatula. Dirty cups in drawers. Threadbare towels.

Ideal home for large groups or family
The house is large and comfortable with 4 double bedrooms. This suited our family very well. The house is well equipped and previous guests had left some grocery items which helped with cooking. There were some issues with garbage left by previous guests but the owners did offer acceptable solutions. You need a car to get to beaches and shops but the location is nice and private with a pleasant deck outside.

Great holiday house
Lovely, comfortable and well appointed house with nearly everything needed for a relaxing holiday. About a 15 minute walk from centre and boardwalk.
This is a really nice house with 4 good sized double bedrooms. Great living areas, and reasonably close to town. (Only a short stroll).
I would recommend this property as it is a great value.
A great base to explore the nearby beaches, Bellingen and Waterfall Way
Lovely house and garden - spotlessly clean with every thing one needs in a holiday house. The covered deck overlooks the lush green garden with its shady paperbark trees - an ideal place to enjoy a drink or two, or a BBQ meal. The location is ideal - close to the swimming hole and boardwalk to the beach at Urunga; close to Coffs Harbour and Nambucca Heads and the Belligen hinterland. The kids had a great time at Camp Creative in Bellingen building their own canoe and testing it out in the river.
The property was larger than expected with everything you could need. All the beds were very comfortable and tastefully furnished. I would recommend to any group or extended family members.
Fantastic property however on our first night we were woken up roughly every hour due to a faulty fire alarm, which could not be disabled.
I was also disappointed that we weren’t refunded the full deposit because of issues with how we cleaned. We did forget to strip the beds however worked very hard at ensuring the property was cleaned thoroughly, spending several hours doing so.
House is in a perfect location and has a lot to offer however I feel icky that after a sleepless night, us not stripping the beds and allegedly leaving the place in a condition requiring double the normal cleaning time, which I dispute, we were not refunded our full deposit.

Hi Lisa,
I’m sorry that you are disappointed, retaining some of the deposit is not something that we wanted to, or like doing. We have a team of two cleaners and our fees are fairly consistent, based on an hourly rate. We were invoiced for more than double time as it took them double the time to clean after your stay. We didn’t personally inspect the house after your stay unfortunately and can only go on what condition they told us the house was in, the photos they sent us and the fees we were charged for cleaning. We did send the checkout instruction via text, over the stayz inbox and it is printed on the wall. It was not just the beds that weren’t striped, there were multiple things that weren’t done that were on the checklist. We also didn’t charge you all the additional cost, just enough to cover some of the fees, we covered the rest ourselves.
Again, our apologies for the smoke alarm but unfortunately that sort of thing is out of our control and completely unpredictable, we have never had any issues with it. The timing was very inconvenient I understand but you also didn’t alert us of the issue, it was us that messaged you after we received an alert that the smoke detected had been alarmed. You can’t really blame us for something out of our control that we weren’t aware of.
We also had reports that you had a gathering at our house, with many more people than were booked in for the stay. We did not make a big deal about this given the circumstances but may explain additional cleaning that was required.
We are glad that you liked our house though.
