Peaceful bush setting
Nutty Bungalow is a lovely spot right next to a beautiful deep coastal forest. The walk to Wenonah Head is pleasant and the beach there is lovely. The house is simple and clean.
Urunga Stay at Hattie’s Bungalow
The comfortable and cosy Bungalow is situated in a beautiful and serene area on Hattie’s Nut Farm.
The king size bed is in the lounge room and dining area of the Bungalow whilst the two single beds are situated in the bedroom.
The bathroom with the toilet is quite spacious
The kitchen is well equipped with a good sized fridge.
The lovely kangaroos and birds come very close to the veranda of the Bungalow, which we enjoyed immensely.
Hattie is a delightful host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at her Bungalow.
Hopefully, we will be able to stay there again in the near future.
What an amazing place
What an amazing place. If you’re looking to get back to nature, this place is for you. We only stayed for one night, on a Brisbane-Sydney road trip, but we loved it. Renting the property was very easy, and Harriet, the owner, was great with communicating the info we needed. If we ever do our road trip again, we would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful quiet cabin amongst the trees, birds and kangaroos
Lovely accommodating hosts and a magical overnight stay on our way up to Byron with two teenage kids and a dog. An easy 15 min drive in to Bellingen town. The cottage had a free flowing, stylish interior with all the necessities in the kitchen and bathroom, a cosy fireplace and comfy beds. Loved all the kangaroos roaming the property and woke to the chorus of birds. We’ll definitely be back sometime in the future!
Tranquil and pleasant
Just as my mind and body need.
It was beautiful. However spoilt for us because we were sooo cold.
I took my elderly father to urunga just for 2 nights. At 85 he really feels the cold. There was a beautiful fire place and very little wood. We spent a great deal of our day trying to get extra wood. I had every blanket I could find on our beds and we were still cold. There was a small oil heater but it wouldn't heat one room . I'm afraid this really spoilt our time there.
