Please Note lease is for Homestead only, Chapel and Shed buildings will be kept vacant during your stay
“The Chapel” first of the outbuildings is our very popular couples dwelling , a charming and historic 115 year old restored timber church the perfect setting for either the wedding couple or parents of the bride with its own private stone wall courtyard ,large timber deck and a corten steel firepit to relax by with a wine or two !
“The Shed” is a 6 metre by 12 metre visually stunning monument colourbond shed with an eclectic and very different feel with its 18 foot ceilings 3.7 m timber bifold doors opening out to a 4x5m deck and crazy paved courtyard with a steel firepit offering misty views across adjoining paddocks
Lazywood Homestead offers an 18m lap pool with adjacent gazebo and bbq plus a full size synthetic grass tennis court providing plenty of opportunity to relax and play with friends and family

Vicky and I love meeting people through our travels and hosting our properties in Maleny
We came up from Brisbane in the late 80s and fell in love with this beautiful area doing what we love best, buying and renovating and improving bare land which enabled us to build our present home in 1997
Vicky and our eldest daughter Katharine run a hair and beauty salon in town.
Our other 2 children are now living on the coast
We have hosted many weddings at Lazywood homestead and the chapel over the years but now concentrate on using this building and our other two accommodations for wedding parties and family get togethers .
Formerly owning our own Real estate businesses in both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast my wife and I now import and export an organic health juice from our warehouse in Tahiti enabling us to concentrate on maintaining the house and grounds

What makes this property unique
Not your average home Lazywood was built over a period of 12 months using 100 year old milled timber from Bretts Wharves in Brisbane and a number of salvaged timbers from demolished buildings including a court house
