Great stay in the heart of Palm Springs

We had a great time at Ken's house. It was well suited for our family and it was an easy process to work with him. Clean house, great location and terrific pool.

I am a chiropractor based in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood. I bought this home initially to start a weight loss practice in Palm Springs, which is on hold for now, so I started listing it when I'm not out there :-) It's my home away from home!

Why they chose this property

Palm Springs has different pockets of housing, This is a family neighborhood and a bit off the main drag. Being more set back from the main mountain gives you more perspective of the magnitude of this mountain range and the best part is you get about an extra sun-time at the pool since the sun sets over the mountain.
The house was built at the start of the mid-century modern movement and is mostly furnished with a mid-century modern style.

What makes this property unique

The pool is undoubtedly the best feature. The depth is from 3.5 to 6 feet at the deep end by the spa, so you can tread water for exercise. There is a lap lane next to the the jacuzzi for those wanting to get in a few laps. There is a 25 foot in water bench along the north side facing the house and the southern sun exposure so you can sit and enjoy a beverage talking with friends. The jacuzzi is 9x6 feet with a horseshoe shaped bench so you can stretch out your legs. Everything is by remote control, so no turning on pumps by hand or having to turn on the bubbles every 20 minutes :-)
The night time feature: LED mood lighting in the pool is controlled by the remote or thru iPhone App.
Waterfalls automatically turn on in the afternoon for a few hours, but can also be turned on manually.
