The property is a lovely old stone house in one of the most beautiful villages in France set amongst rolling wooded hills and vineyards. The house has been modernised and has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large well-equipped kitchen, family room, library, and sitting room with TV, DVDs and large open fire. Wi-Fi is available in most parts of the house. There are three south facing terraces and a small pool. The house is both spacious and cosy, and the interlinked rooms and terraces make it easy to be part of a family or group but also to have your own space and privacy.
The Ardèche, Cevennes, and the historic towns of Avignon, Nîmes, Uzes and Orange are within easy driving distance. For wine lovers there are the vineyards of Lirac, Tavel, Châteauneuf du Pape, Gicondas and Vacqueyras amongst others of the Rhone valley.
There are two restaurants in the center of the village and two others on the outskirts (although they are not open in winter).The river Ceze is a short walk away with rapids and a popular river beach. There are some lovely walks, and riding, kayaking, cycling, caving and fishing amongst other activities are available nearby.
