Charming and Cozy Stone Cottage Near Tulsa Expo Square and Downtown

Oakhaven Cottage features comfort for six guests with three bedrooms - one king bedroom and one queen bedroom downstairs and one queen bedroom upstairs with its own full bath. The beds and linens are new and fresh and the bedroom furniture is beautiful solid cherry, maple, and pine. The dining room and living room seat 6 and the upstairs greatroom is perfect for movie watching or catching the big game. Put your feet up in the cozy sunroom, the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening beverage while watching the neighbors walk their dogs or squirrels chase up and down the oak trees.

Kitchen is newly renovated and well-appointed. The downstairs bathroom is also newly updated with a custom-built, double-sink vanity and walk-in shower.

The cottage features hardwood floors throughout the downstairs rooms.
There are ceiling fans in all three bedrooms, living room, sunroom, and upstairs great room for quiet comfort.
All bedrooms have nightstand lighting with USB charging ports.
Laundry with large capacity washer and dryer and detergents and softeners provided.
Covered deck with comfortable seating for six people.
Playhouse and swing set in the back yard for the wee ones.
You'll find lots of stained glass pieces crafted by our family.

Oakhaven Cottage is conveniently located in a quiet, Midtown-Tulsa neighborhood - very close to Expo Square, University of Tulsa, and Cherry Street restaurants and shops. Downtown Tulsa and the Pearl, Blue Dome, and Arts Districts are all close by with eleven local craft breweries an easy Uber ride away.

This property was MORE than we expected for our three day visit to Tulsa! The home is very cozy, clean and is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The location is less than 1mi from The University of Tulsa which was great since we were there for a concert. However, this midtown location also provided a great central location to explore the city.

This is truly the CUTEST cottage! Our family of 4 - parents and two teens were very comfortable here while we were visiting family in Tulsa. It is super clean, had everything you need for preparing family meals, and lots of space for family to gather and create memories. The sunporch was my favorite spot but the back deck was also lovely. Cottage getaway

Lovely neighborhood and home. It was very comfortable and charming. It was close to some downtown museums which we enjoyed and also was close to family in the Tulsa area. Appreciated the art works and stain glass pieses.

We lived in this house for nearly 20 years before we moved to a place with more space and room for Sean's business and sportscar interests. Sean is a graphic designer and Ayn is an educator. We have one child, all grown up now, and we love to travel ourselves. We have stayed in vacation rental homes from New York City to Colorado and many other places in between. It's always exciting to find the perfect home-base for our away adventures.

When we lived in Oakhaven Cottage, we enjoyed sharing the space with our dearest friends, and now we look forward to sharing it with you, too!

Why they chose this property

We poured so much of ourselves into Oakhaven Cottage. Sean gutted and rebuilt the entire upstairs, renovated the kitchen, downstairs bathroom and laundry. We lifted the carpet to reveal gorgeous hardwood floors, and scraped away decades of paint and wallpaper to reveal the original plaster walls. Oakhaven Cottage was built in 1938 and is a beautiful example of the architecture of that time.

Even though we moved from the house in 2013, we still keep in touch with our neighbors. We truly love the house so much that we often meet there for lunch during the work week if its not rented. We like to unwind in the sunroom, put our feet up on the back deck or host a game night with friends.
